Morris is a stopgap, and if we can get a couple commits this year, we can evaluate and see if we need another stopgap next year. Other schools have shown that it is a serviceable trend, but at some point we need to be able to identify and develop talent. Previous regime couldn't do one or the other, which is why we're stuck in this position.

After 2016 we lose Morris and Smith. You eliminate Chumley. That leaves us with Means in 2017 as the only veteran on scholarship (with no in-game experience so far). We need lots of competition at that position with proper FBS coaching in 2017.

It follows a long list of gaffes in just the past month. Most of the midterm signees names were misspelled. Poor media quality. Not having the date correct on multiple documents. If someone is being paid to be a communications guy, by golly I expect better than this.

The TWU banners around the county courthouse say otherwise. UNT still needs to take over Denton. If you drove on Oak from the square all the way to Bonnie Brae, you would have no idea there was a university two blocks away.

As far as recruits go, I will say that I am super excited about Middleton.

He already hit the 1,000 yard all purpose mark in 2015 in a shortened season. At 118 AP yards per game, he'd be projected for 1400 yds had he not missed two games. In terms of rush yards, he was projected to hit a shade under 1,000 rush yards if he had played a full season. Just. Need. Touchdowns.

Part of it, for me, is that it's not his responsibility, yet he continues to do so. Maybe if he were compensated for it as a staff member, he can dedicate and focus even more time doing it. Unless this question was more of a recruiting question. In that case *shrug meme* Edit: The department's social media game is weak, and the creation of the UNTouchable account, as normal as it would be in a "big school", was such a shocker for us. It needs someone to spark it up.

Not sure what this means. But if you look back to his offenses, play calling changes based on personnel and strengths. Some years he has called 60% passing. Other years, 60% rushing. Other years, 50-50. You can't "out-athlete" anyone if you don't put them in the right situations (play calling) to succeed. This was a big factor last year, the year before that, and before that...
