  1. Ok. But at UNT we had 13 big contributors. I'll say if SL can keep a whole class, I'll be impressed too.
  2. Sure there was a lot of attrition, but it warn't no 2012. 2011 had Akunne, Jimmerson, Laramie, Lemon, Lincoln, Daryl Mason, McNulty, Austin Orr, Polk, Micah, Freddie Warner, Zac Whitfield, Andrew Power.
  3. I think that's what's the most frustrating. I (we?) get more info from you than I have from the athletic department regarding these kinds of things. I will say I have gotten my first phone call since I started buying season tix in 2011 reaching out to me first. Baby steps.
  4. He's an almnus. (You started it).
  5. I'll go ahead and disagree
  6. In the Chris Riddle thread. Committed to some Div II school in western Florida. Difference I think is, Riddle never got an offer other than walk-ons. Debiase did, but it seems it wasn't good enough for them - I mean him. They - I mean he is holding out for better FBS offers. Prep school coaching and development better than FBS? Pfff.
  7. ^ This is why I like Ivery better in space than in between the tackles. Good stop-start, but runs around guys more than makes them miss.
  8. Ivery is a different back, and am surprised that he was actually heavier (5'8", 183lbs sparq) than Nic out of HS because of Nic's style. Ivery is versatile, but is better served playing in open space. Sort of like a Shane Vereen type, who can catch passes very well. Nic plays more of a between-the-tackles style, with better cutting and lateral agility.
  9. Wow what a prospect. Strong cutting ability, very quick in small spaces, great agility and balance, and that speed... I like what I see, and immediately upgrades our RB depth. Should be a contributor early, especially if our plays per game increase significantly.
  10. Yeah, suck it Rice, UTSA, and Charlotte.
  11. Littrell and Co working it
  12. We're looking much better than we were last week. Phew. But hopefully we can grab a big (in terms of size) outside receiver next year. Oh yeah. And another QB next year.
  13. *skims to find pertinent info* *skims* *scrolls* godammit
  14. I thought he went to a Baptist school in Oklahoma? Or was that a different WR we lost from that class?
  15. Good God. Get Twitter. (I think that's their slogan).
  16. (I know you're passing along info) His accuracy is just fine in the intermediate range, and his placement is deliberate and good in certain situations downfield that may seem off-target. But he does need work on downfield throws. I just can't tell how strong his arm is. Edit: We talkin Debiase, right?
  17. Thought he's off the roster?
  18. I mean if Lex can do it (or Tim, if you're a purist)...
  19. You're absolutely right.
  20. Assuming we sign 15 more recruits? TE and DB. Getting the right QB can add a lot of needed excitement to the program.
