  1. For a walk-on yes
  2. Yup he's leapfrogged the scholarship QBs
  3. uh, two man (sarcasm). Very very quick release is the only thing I can tell as a passer. But he's definitely a good runner.
  4. Which fans, the small minority sitting in Apogee, or the majority who don't care?
  5. here's a clip from my audition. Nailed it.
  6. It's like...a side part. Like a pompadour.
  7. I won't argue that and I have the same hesitation. But on the flip side, would any of our QBs from last year have been the top 2-3 QB in Alabama over the past few years?
  8. He's a pocket climber and mover. McNulty was not, DSmith was not. Throws on the move well, can place it between defenders. In terms of his throwing mechanics, my biggest knock is sometimes he spreads his legs a little too wide. That can have an affect on his deep ball causing it to sail a smidge (fingertip catches). But in the short and intermediate range he's got a pretty ball, with arc, and has good touch on outside throws and over the middle. Can throw it over LBs in coverage over the middle. Dude, he can throw to the outside. I don't remember what that looks like. McNulty had a good intermediate ball up the seam and over the middle, but his wind up and stance was so odd and inconsistent that it translated to inconsistent throws. A lot of people have mentioned defense. On offense I can see him as a big possession receiver away from the line. Don't always have to have a small speed guy over the middle. Of note, UNC frequently used one or two TEs last year, especially in jumbo sets. He and Dillman could be a mismatch vs LBs or nickelbacks in coverage. Could you imagine a 4 receiver set with Goree, Dillman, Chumley, and Rutherford? Talk about jumbo.
  9. I won't say that either. Just in ages. But what's the point of sports without hso's?
  10. Still while being chased out of the pocket, and pressured. Otherwise drives stall and he doesn't get another chance to play. Better form and accuracy than McNulty, Means, and Chumley. That's very easy to see, which allows me to say he is "likely" the more accurate QB. And why I said that it may not be saying much. In both accounts yes, I can tell that I am more accurate than Chumley, and yes I can tell that Chumley needs to move to receiver.
  11. Years of Alabama spring games and practice film. I am more accurate than Caleb Chumley.
  12. Name of the game is efficiency. I mentioned that last year for McNulty. If he can keep it above 7 YPA it'll be good news for us. Morris is likely the most accurate QB we've had in ages. It may not be saying much, but it's what we've needed to keep drives alive, or convert short downs, and keeping the defense off the field.
  13. I think a lot of them already are, which is part of the underlying talent issue.
  14. Early deficit, fumble. He did account for 25% of the offense (49 yards), and 168 all-purpose yards (119 return yards) which lead that game.
  15. When I watch his safety highlights, I want him as a safety. When I watch his receiver highlights, I want him as a receiver. He's got a lot of natural talent and acceleration as a receiver, and has got strong hands.
  16. Ok but who's your bold sleeper
  17. Legal question, how do you get charged with dwi without having a BAC test result? Why not just dui?
  18. where would he play, based on formation? Is he strickly OLB or can he play nickel?
  19. Cause we're livin in the USA, and we ain't got a dime to pay
  20. Seriously. Since Apogee opened, I believe we have either won more games, or just as many as, SMU.
  21. Call out your bold 2016 sleeper before everyone else. Guys like Ivery and Goree don't count. I will go with Thadd Thompson. He's big, strong, and aggressive at the LOS and I liked his JUCO tape. He's got one year under his belt at the FBS level, and hopefully with a good QB. He can function well as an outside receiver. O/U at 40 rec 600 yards 4 TDs. (which I think is an ambitious prediction of the passing attack)
  22. He was a highly regarded TE
  23. In Vito's defense it's clearly laid out in his article. I think if Littrell wants to close up practice then that's his choice. Lots of colleges do it. But the situation is very odd since during an earlier press conference I am almost certain he mentioned he would open up practice, and almost seemed like it was a weird notion not to. I think what bugs the hell out of a whole bunch of folks is the line about "certain boosters" could be given exception.
  24. At least his footwork is getting better
