  1. Don't be April 1st, don't be April 1st... Oh thank goodness
  2. So could we please all stop digging our heels and just expect better? Raise your expectations. Memphis is just ok. We can do better. Can't we? Can't we.
  3. Who's he callin' a sissy? Why i oughta
  4. Correct. Up until the Spring game on the 23rd.
  5. TxDOT be Oprah-ing north Texas. You get a construction project, you get a construction project, and you get a construction project! Not to be the soon-to-be-dead messenger, but there will soon be more 35 construction between 380 and the northern loop 288. I think that starts in 2017.
  6. Please football Yeezus make it so
  7. The more important question is why haven't you taken it upon yourself to fix this. I saw a piece of trash the other day and I picked it up and threw it in the duck pond, and now the grass looks prettier. It made me feel good. Gosh, we live in a generation of entitled people. You think UH fixes it's own panels? No! People call in 100 a day to fix it for them. They don't have to advertise that they need panels fixed, why should we?
  8. Count me in the meh crowd. It's basically North Texas during the Dickey ru-oh snap
  9. Everyone needs to work on their play on words. It's ok, we can't all be good at puns. I won't accountability against you. Wait. Damn it.
  10. My two cents. All of the QBs have improved since last year. Chumley gets most improved award. Better stance, better form, better throw (rocket arm). But his passes are still wobbly, and he can only complete it to a receiver going in a straight line (outs and posts). Other routes over the middle were batted, way off, or INT'd. Team was rallying around him whenever he made a positive play after a mistake. Still the #4 qb out there, but boy he is a physical specimen. Hope they at least get to use his athleticism out there one day. Means still has some accuracy concerns, but in the intermediate range has a good arm. Daughter was being very distracting whenever he played so didn't get a fair assessment. Shanbour showed great form on a pass on the run. Decision making is too slow. Needs to speed up progression. Form is fine. Definitely looks small out there. Morris is the clear lead out there. Accurate and places the balls in the right spots. Won't add to what other folks have said. Bendy looks big out there and was making plays. Goree was doing his thing, but Bendy was looking really good in drills. Rutherford too. Glad they were seeing so much time and using it to their advantage. Goree was being the touted Goree. Thompson has good frame and good hands, really want to see more of him. TEs were strong over the middle. We got big receivers y'all, and I'm slobbery.
  11. You know, now that you mention it, Google, why yes I WOULD like to mail order a Russian bride over 50.
  12. Best I could come up over "Do university billboards work? Just did!"
  13. If we're doing any more broad brush billboards, I'd like to see "Now Entering Mean Green Country"
  14. Not trying to knock UNT here, but we just aren't securing the academic/research funding a school of our size should. Those few programs that excel can't carry the rest of the university. The rest of the university needs to step up, but that requires good leadership from the top. How else do we attract attention and money in the short-term? *Most Rhyner of voices*. Sports But I hope in the long-term, the university is able to do a better job to reinforce the great programs, and improve the mediocre ones (and also, in this hypothetical, keep football funding up).
  15. UNT ain't no Stanford or Northwestern.
  16. If the kids let me out I'll be there
  17. If his 3 cone is correct, that's unreal. His other stats need work, but they're right on the edge for his size. Hope he makes it to a camp and sticks. Good luck to him.
  18. Damn, Deborah just got thrown under the bus.
  19. Agree that he likely isn't a qb at this level, but to me he runs like a receiver so I'll add my vote for WR.
  20. Only couch opinion from Periscope'd drills I've watched, but even through all the fuzziness, Morris looked like the best guy out there. Demeanor, delivery. Last year, Dajon and McNulty couldn't separate themselves from one another. I am going to try to make it Saturday.
  21. Makes for the lightest o-lineman on the team, and we typically average one of the bigger lines in the country, well above 300-310. Guys like Jordan Murray and Shawn McKinney kinda help pad our stats.
  22. I understand what you're saying about the quality of our scholarship backups - and I agree that it doesn't take much talent to pass them by - but as a walk-on to be getting second team reps at D1 level is still something he can be proud of.
  23. Yup went Marshall. Job security.
