  1. Hey I take issue with that. I heard it was homecoming. That means at least 10 extra people were there. ....... Hum oh what did you say behind my back? 🤫Nevermind those 19 were professors and administraters required to be there for homecoming . UNT alumni can't prove that.
  2. We don't see "hey UTSA didn't blow us out" as an accomplishment. Seth pure numbers definition now is a loser here. Under 0.500 overall well under 0.500 versus FBS competition and 0-6 in post season games. UTSA's bad play in the first half gave us an opportunity. The defense played great. And if Seth got this job by being a great defensive coordinator and the defense been consistent over the past 3-7 years I would be giving him credit. Truth is he shouldn’t be coaching here and 2022. A flukish good showing but loss against the 'mighty' Roadrunners isn't going to change our displeasure with him. I don't know why that is funny to you. Unless you got some satisfaction out of a close lost. 🙄
  3. We have a relative of Seth on the board. Umm, this board isn't going to be a pleasent place to be for you.
  4. Selecting no, but he has improved since Traylor arrived.
  5. I will watch WKU game and learn after the fact to learn what happened. Announcer said "stolen" first place? Nah one team has a coach that can select and develop quarterback the other one doesn't. Again no way we beat last year's game in Denton without that storm. Seth is still here because because of storm. 🙄 That is freaking pathetic. I won't be back to Apogee &$!& everyone who not on the team that had a role in bringing him back. Bleeping wasted season setting them up for more failure when they join the AAC. 🤦🏾‍♂️
  6. Defense did their job today even if they gave up 24 points. Hell just don't throw a stupid interception we probably leading this game or UTSA is just driving to the 24 points we should have minimum right now. Aune should have 3 interceptions by now.
  7. Especially if you want his legs to be a difference maker on the read option. That is another reason they are just crashing on the running back lanes.
  8. He is more really bad than really good.
  9. Announcer sounded as surprised as I was to see Aune throw a long accurate pass. 🤣. I will take it. Just need a couple more to make the defense stop loading up on the run.
  10. Reaching for things to defend Aune? Please stop. Guy isn't good just accept it.
  11. Wow, okay time for a deep dive investigation to figure out what scandal evidence Aune has tucked away on the coaches here.
  12. Can we get a GoFundMe completed and purchase a Mean Green themed Nissan truck so Stadium can run another commercial that isn't Grub's Nissan? I got $29. Please make them stop.
  13. 🤪🤣🤪🤣🤪. Dude he is bought into Aune like Mac was bought into McNutly. And at this point Aune would have to play like McNulty to get benched at the midpoint of a game. 🤣
  14. Pounding the rock with a QB that isn't a dangerous big play threat with his legs in the spread won't beat good teams. Aune is too limited. He doesn't make the game easier for the receivers. Even with the drops he would be below 60% completions right now.
  15. Players regularly have to make acrobatic catches and fight throughdefenders for passes that travel under 20 yards in the air. But the QB isn't the problem. 🤪
  16. They should be up 13-0 minimum now. But 21-0 if Aune was more accurate and the receivers caught the more difficult passes that were in reach. If they hold UTSA under 30 (which it looks like they are on pace to do) I don't want to hear defenses of Aune unless the backs fumble the ball a couple of times.
  17. Unfortunately there were more downvotes of your original comment after you posted the one I am quoting here. The reaction of some fans is like biopsy of the huge cancer within collective fan psyche. It extends to the leadership here also. It is great to have a couple patient consistent big donors. But to get more of those donors and thousands of alumni to invest you have to show that your program is worthy of the investment. As bad as the program has been most of the +20 years 36-33 is far from good enough.
  18. I think that is delusionally optimistic. I couldn't give away my extra season tickets 4 out of the 6 home games every year. I had to stop buying them. During Mac’s one good season I didn’t have that problem. They just don’t win enough for the ancillary things like kick off times and ease of student access to make a difference. Even when students just had have their student ID to get into games we had student attendance issues.
  19. That starts with demanding success from Head Coaches. Stop worrying about trying to keep a good coach past 5 years. UTSA has built a program that can rebound after a great coach is hired away. The rivarly starts when we beat a SMU team in Ford Stadium that finishes the season bowl eligible.
  20. Y'all can downvote and roll eyes at MGNation92's comment but if we had to bet something significant on Brenden getting good QB coaching here under Coach "Let it Fly Late and Off Target" we would bet against it. 🤷🏽‍♂️.
  21. That is my favorite right there, cause I feel like an inmate rooting for this team this year.
  22. It isn’t about Aune. No QB is likely to well hear with subpar coaching unless they are absolutely special. We could scarcely afford to get less out of the passing games and beat mediocre teams let alone actually good teams. Maybe one of the guys on the bench is special and can overcome the subpar coaching to complete 60% of passes every game and maintain a 2-1 TD to Int ratio. We will never find out (as extremely unlikely as it is)unless they at least play a half in a competitive game against FBS level competition. At this point is like arguing against spending $4 a week on Powerball only during the weeks the jackpot is 300 million. That $28 a year isn't going to make a difference in your 401k especially if your over 40. 🤣. That being said I would like to see the other talent we have than bank on Aune's play getting us 7-5 or 6-6 and a crappy bowl we get soundly defeat in or worse yet blown out in again. We have very little to lose. And most likely less after these next 2 road games.
  23. Bottom line offensive passing game coach is absolutely deplorable. And has been ever since Harrell left. It so bad we don’t know how talented these guys are unless they get on the field with better coaching somewhere else. It a very disappointing state of affairs especially if they can’t win one of the next road games partially due to an anemic inefficient passing game, with “Let it Fly” at the helm. 🤦🏽‍♂️
  24. Classy way to make a possible blowout win look more impressive than it actually would be for UTSA.
  25. After watching the backup at Kansas throw better passes against Oklahoma on the road than Aune threw at home this Saturday, I don’t know why anyone trust this offensive coaching staff to find and develop QB talent. Definitely not enough to take a side in this debate. In 2 games Bean played against TCU and then OU on the road. He has 7 TDS and 3 Interceptions and completing over 60%. Bean also has more rushing yards in his limited play than Aune has this whole season taking virtually every snap. Yet is debatable on GMG that Bean isn’t better than Aune? If it is then there is an equal possibility that Martin is better than you think. I don’t know anything except what the numbers say and plays I watch. Aune isn’t good. And if they don’t have someone better the people in charge of getting QB talent and develop it should have been fired a long time ago. 🤷🏽‍♂️
