Those were the worst refs I've witnessed this season. It went from bad to worse in the 2nd half when we got some bad calls, turned the ball over more, put up some bad shots, and we couldn't follow a score with a stop on the other end. I asked RV from the stands at the end if we could get some better referees next year, and he said, "I know.." Jordan was also off yesterday. But it was a joy to watch him this season. I just hope this game that I believe was marred by bad officiating doesn't hurt their confidence going back on the road. They play like they did with a solid officiating crew and they still can make a run in the conference tourney.

I think we could start 4-1. Then we have a tough road schedule, but with UTSA, MTSU, and UTEP, we could crawl to a 6-6 record and bowl eligibility. I'm very optimistic, though.

Saturday should be a great game, all the more reason for everyone to pack The Pit. Even at ODU, the Monarchs only defeated us by 11 when they were flying high (15-2 after that victory) and we, meanwhile, were at our lowest as we dropped to a season-high four games under .500. I think we pull it out, but I may be biased.

I have been saying this all year that they have needed to play man. I remember against Rice when they made the switch at halftime and went from allowing 12 3's in the first half to only three in second.

Notice that the student section was still only as loud as when it's just five rows of students standing. But anyhow, what a turnaround! 16-point loss to a 16-point victory and a great way to send George Dunham out! I was afraid that this would be another LA Tech game where we couldn't miss in the first half but struggled to the finish line. However, we played a consistent game and I'm proud of the team! And we were soooo close to a free car wash, too, but it was like the basket said, "BAM! Not in this water crisis!"

North Texas better not take Charlotte for granted, obviously given the result of their previous matchup. Despite their downfall, Charlotte still possesses the top offense in C-USA, although that's still only 73 points a game. But like we all know, North Texas has been streaking and I see them extending their streak to five. Not only that, but I'm hoping an appropriate crowd turns out to support this Mean Green team who is getting hot at the right time.

Damn, and I went home (30> miles from Waco) this weekend and would have been nice to catch the Mean Green softball team. Good job ladies!

Mean Green still have the conference tournament to make this season special. They've shown they can play with anybody. But on the safe side, it'd be nice for someone to upset UTEP before we have to play them...

So excited to see our team win again! Two more games left at the Pit and I hope we get good crowds. This four-game win streak really makes me wish we could have those games against Southern Miss or Marshall, etc. back. But I still believe!

As a student, the first thing I have always thought about in the middle of the games is the lighting. I think they need to dim the lights more in the bleachers to emphasize the game like you see in NBA arenas and I agree with RV about the pregame introductions. They also need to adjust the scoreboard content. I don't know how many times they've put the wrong player.. (even saw this at Apogee) There were also a few games in November/December where the fan trivia question would screw up. I think they need to put more time and effort into that.
