TCU's running back coach* Curtis Luper and UTSA are reported to have mutual interest for HC vacancy. I found it interesting because we mentioned him here on the board as a potential OC when Meacham was being discussed as HC candidate for us. Then along those same lines our new inside reciever coach Tommy Mainord was listed as a hopeful OC candidate before Coker got canned. Problem is Mcnulty was a senior for a division 1 program and this kid is a senior in high school. That is why I say he will be a better quarterback in college.

I agree with you completely. But I think this is why there has been such a rise in transfer the last few years. Kids don't take playing time into effect, or the chance of getting home sick. They just see "h-town takeover" "tom Herman grill" and bowl win over FSU. Then two years of sitting the bench behind Allen he gets unhappy then looks to transfer. Not saying he will transfer or can't best out kyle allen. But the odds aren't in his favor of alot of playing time.
