I'd love to get rid of or paint over the inside yellow concrete walls inside the pit. Easily dates the building.- 107 replies

If life was perfect, only recruiting high school talent would please me. But jucos provide immediate hope for the coming season. And I need all the hope I can get.

UNT's schedule is out... We will not rest
James replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Football
As much as I hate to have this tough schedule, I love that we get to play WKU and MTSU. Those were two teams I'm glad we brought along from the sun belt. It's also about time we said goodbye to the ugly Florida twins on the schedule. -
UAB president to make case at C-USA winter meetings
James replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
I feel bad and sympathetic for the UAB fanbase, but this president needs to feel the consequences of cutting football. Time to cut the cord. -
The best player(s) to play college football from your high school?
James replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
I went to Leander High School. Blake Gideon: Started all 52 games at safety during his time at the University of Texas. After an awkward NFL "career" he is now on staff at the University of Florida. Paul Thompson: #8 athlete in the country coming out of high school (per certain sources) and attended Oklahoma and had fun playing Boise St in the Fiesta Bowl. -
Wow. Just wow... Puts things in perspective real quick. Makes me angry.

You can't spell punt without UNT.

I work at the Flower Mound location and my manager said they're using Denton as a test to see if others should start carrying as well. We had very limited stock so I'd love to see the other academys start carrying mean green gear.

UNT breaks ground on new residence hall construction
James replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
From what I've seen from the construction on campus is that it'll be very nice and will help the entrance into campus visually. -
He's obviously just creating a good storyline for when we win a national championship in a couple years. That's the best I've got.

McNulty for heisman.

Yeah. Very true. I was hoping for some "explosiveness" though.
