Normally I would disagree, but in 2020 I guess I won’t. I hope he plays so that we can see him play one more time, but if chooses not to then good luck to him. He’s been a joy to watch.

I’m on the fence as to whether or not I’d hire Briles, but I’ll say that any backlash from hiring him will go away if you just ride out the initial storm and don’t cower to those against the hire. That’s what Mt. Vernon did and that’s what the next place who hires him will have to do.

I believe he’s 18. While your point still stands, I imagine him being 18 could result in more serious consequences.

How about a three team trade? Briles to Tech, Wells to NT, and Littrell to MV.

With our luck we’d be the one exception.😩 I think one thing to keep in mind is that he’s not exactly a spring chicken. How many more years will he realistically stay in coaching...at any level?

I haven’t seen an offense run through a defense like this since last Saturday in San Antonio. We make average to above average running backs look like Heisman candidates.

I’d say these are the “normal” jerseys in the sense of having a “home” uniform and an “away” uniform. I like the uniforms, but I’d prefer the SOW or the wing on the helmet. Not griping, just nitpicking. The way the last two seasons have gone, I’m jumping on the “I don’t care what we wear as long as we win” bandwagon.

I’m somewhere between “tough year” and “concerned”, but I voted “concerned.” We do have some good, young talent, but for whatever reason we always seem to be the same old North Texas. There are bright spots every now and then when it looks like we might turn the corner and be the program we all dream of, but it never happens.

I actually haven’t been to one in a while, but I’ve had good luck in North Plano, Flower Mound, Euless, and on the tollway near the Galleria. No luck in Frisco by the StarsCenter.

Agreed and I don’t think this was the original intent of instant replay. The intent was to do away with obvious blown calls. The worst are the “was it a catch” reviews. Okie St. got ripped today in my opinion. The had picked up a first down late in the 4th qtr. on a great “catch” that the replay booth determined was actually not a catch. I say this and (prepares for the flaming) I was rooting for Texas.
