  1. I’m not a gambling man, but sitting here wearing these green tinted glasses and drinking this green kool aid, I may have to find a bookie and get in on some of this action.🤣🤣
  2. I don’t think the wins and losses will dictate a return next year as much as seeing progress. If we go 4-7 and lose 4 or 5 games by 20 plus points, it’s time for him to go...especially if it seems like the same ol song and dance. If we go 4-7, but most games are competitive, I think he will get another year...especially if we are playing young players who are showing signs of growth.
  3. I have no clue as to how many wins and losses we have, but I think we will be vastly improved. I hate to think about being a much better team and still only winning 4 games, but I think it could happen. I believe 6 or 7 wins would be a very successful season.
  4. I know @emmitt01 has already addressed this, but I’ll add one more thing. Even if the student is 18, a relationship with an educator is against the law.
  5. By law, but not by public opinion. Look how many on here refuse to say he is innocent. Sad.
  6. https://www.amenclinics.com/ I consider Dr. Amen to be the authority on brain research, including ADHD. I strongly recommend you read his book, Healing ADHD. As others have already mentioned, diet, exercise, and supplements first, with meds as a final resort. If meds are required, it can sometimes take a while to find the right dose of the right medicine for your child’s ADHD.
  7. If he’ll “opt out” in high school, he’ll “opt out” in college too. Not the mentality I’d want to add to my team.
  8. Guilty until proven innocent...the new America.
  9. Congrats @letsgiveacheer. What an outstanding honor!!!
  10. And people say CUSA is no good😁
  11. There are probably obvious answers that are slipping my mind, but how many P5 transfers have come in and “lived up to the hype”? Jalen Guyton, Cole Hedlund...who else? I just seem to remember the Alec Morris’s and Bryce English’s. (No offense to either of those guys, but for various reasons, neither of them were what we hoped for/expected when they transferred)
  12. Man, that’s tough. Kennedy Cobbs Spencer Quinn I may vote again tomorrow and change the order of the last three.
  13. How would Wahoo McDaniel be accepted today?😬😂 Give me Kerry Von Erich as my all time favorite, edging out Kevin.
  14. Wow. That’s terrible. Prayers go out to the family.
  15. It’s a little bit embarrassing😊😬
  16. I’ve got the book, but I’ve never gotten around to reading it. Seems as though it has the potential to be a good movie.
  17. Hoping for 4th, expecting 6th.
  18. Brelan may be my all time favorite Mean Green player, but I agree with most everyone else that it’s not really a tough choice. 2017 by a wide margin.
  19. First of all, thanks to @Rudyfor your service and for the first hand experience you’ve shared in this thread. Good stuff. Second, @Censored by Lauriehas proven, in my estimation, that liberals and conservatives don’t have to disagree on every topic. While we may not agree 100%, I think we could easily find a compromise on this subject. I have nowhere near the experience of a police officer, but I know what they must have to deal with, albeit on a much lower level. As a teacher, it got very old and frustrating telling the same students the same thing day after day after day. You wouldn’t think following some simple rules would be so difficult. Add to the noncompliance a disrespectful attitude and you can see the frustration. I’m know it’s X1000 for a police officer. As @Hunter Greensaid, at some point we have to hold the public accountable. I’ve never really found it difficult to obey the law, but I understand if I do break the law, there will be consequences. I’m having this issue with my son right now and it’s kind of scary as a parent. When he breaks one of our rules and is punished, he gets upset at us, his parents. When I faced a similar situation as a teen, I got upset at myself for getting caught, not at my parents for punishing me. It’s a complex issue, but I appreciate the civil discourse in this thread.
  20. I don’t know exactly what I’d change, but replay drives me crazy. The intent of the rule has been lost and it’s killing the game. As @golfingomezsaid, take slow motion out of it. If the the call was that egregious, you can tell in real time. I think the intent of the OP was actual in-game rules that you would change. I like @UNTLifersuggestion, but it just doesn’t happen very often, so changing wouldn’t have a great impact. I think I might change a holding penalty to be a 5 yard penalty instead of 10. As it is now, a holding penalty just kills you.
  21. The attendance limit made it tough. While I probably wouldn’t have been able to make it because of work, I definitely wasn’t going to drive 2 hours if there was a chance that I was going to be turned away. Students should have packed the place...15% full of course.
