You’re going to need to be more specific so that we know exactly what you’re talking about🤣😁 -

98 yard drive that ends with no points. You don’t see that every Saturday. I don’t have a problem with going for it on 4th. Still a nice, time consuming drive. -

So we literally don’t have a single play where the QB is under center??? -

I know we scored, but from an inch away, we snap the ball back to the QB at the 4 yard line. Crazy. -
I will be rooting for the Mean Green as always, but if we lose I won’t be nearly as upset as usual. It’s kind of like when my son played travel baseball. I wanted them to win every tournament, but when they lost and I got to go home, I wasn’t too upset.

Agreed. On a personal level I think the hoodie is awesome, but I’d never wear it because some people think that’s still our name. It’s irritated me for years, so I don’t want to fuel the fire.

If we win out I will most likely change my mind because that would indicate that something has changed. I’m talking about bringing him back just because we beat UTEP and FIU. That’s two totally different scenarios.

The whole coaching issue has made for a very weird season. The last couple of games, instead of being happy with the win, I’m almost disappointed because I’m afraid that it could mean we have the same coach next year. I’ve said all along that it’s how we win or lose that should dictate a coaching change and I think the way we have lost most games (and the way we’ve won some) leaves no doubt. I’m beginning to fear that I was wrong and that 5 wins will ensure the return of SL regardless.

I wish we could find our Napier, but they are a rare find.

You probably said the same thing about Gonzaga, Butler, Creighton, etc, etc. Had they never been given the chance…well, let’s just say Gonzaga wouldn’t be Gonzaga if they played football. And no one has to give me a lecture about how basketball is different than football. The point is everyone said the same things about those basketball teams: if they were in a major conference they’d be average, if they played a better schedule they’d have more losses, etc. Do I think Cincinnati is the best team in the nation? Of course not, but that should be decided on the field, not in a conference room.

LOL. I’m was making the assumption that the kids are coming to live with me now.

If the person I’m divorcing dies, do I still pay child support?

I don’t know. I was on the wrong side of a few beat downs and I would have been fighting mad if the other team had ever punted on first down. I’m against running up the score, but I’m of the belief that 70-0 could be keeping it close, while 42-14 could be running it up. It’s the circumstances, not the final score.

North Texas - Rice Official Game Thread

Undisciplined play, run on 1st down, defense will give up a long scoring play or two, run up the middle on 4th and short. -
White helmet with Green SOW OR Green helmet with White SOW

It seems there is a precedent with the SWC. Evidently the schools that left to join the Big 12 didn’t pay exit fees because there was no SWC to pay them to. I don’t know the validity of this, I’m just going by what McMurphy said.
-
If you listen to the podcast with Brett McMurphy it seems there is a chance of no exit fees. If CUSA folds, the is no longer a conference to pay.
-
I know this is not official, but I don’t see how you could be a UNT fan and not be excited about this. It’s so much better than where we are now.
