  1. So 100-0 UNT seems like a logical prediction for tomorrow. Although we may call off the dogs before it gets that bad.
  2. This is exactly how I feel. Very few games on that list where the margin is less than 20.
  3. I know I’m in the minority here, but I don’t think SMU beat us as bad as most do. We shot ourselves in the foot a couple of times when it was still a game and the snowball started rolling downhill. Sometimes when the snowball starts rolling, it’s hard to stop. Admittedly, we were having trouble stopping their offense, but I still think it’s a different game had we not imploded. I don’t know what happened at UNLV. As I was watching that game I didn’t think they were very good, but they were just embarrassing us. This game was the peak of disappointment for me. Memphis, I mean, we can play with those guys.😁😁. There was a lot of anguish over that statement, and the head coach shouldn’t have said it, but I took it to mean that the teams were evenly matched…which is true.
  4. Love’em…once a year!!! To clarify, even though I think they’re great, I like only wearing them once a year.
  5. I know this is a bad old dad joke, but that’s proof they have more dollars than sense.
  6. You’d be complaining to referees who agree with you. The refs on the field called it correctly. If a call is overturned there’s not much you can do about it in the moment. I agree that Wren should be appealing to conference officials, but arguing with people who made the correct call and getting a 15 yard penalty doesn’t seem very productive. And at that point, the game was still in doubt so a 15 yard penalty would have been very bad.
  7. I’ve always kind of liked finding the hard worker who was either overlooked or didn’t have the measurables. I always felt like Charlie Strong worked well with that type of kid and SL may be the same.
  8. I’ve spent the past three Saturday’s doing absolutely nothing but watching college football. During this time I’ve come to a few conclusions regarding our QB situation. 1: Aune is an average QB. I see the same things in Aune that I see in other QB’s. The mistakes and inconsistent play stand out more with Aune because I’m emotionally invested in the team. 2. I love our WR’s, but they never seem to bail Aune out with a great catch, especially in a crucial situation. If Aune had thrown the last two passes that Harris threw last week, we’d all be complaining about him over throwing the receiver. There were a couple of situations yesterday that I felt like the WKU QB threw very high, but the WR made the play. Once in particular was a 3rd down conversion. No real point to this post, just sharing what I’ve seen when I watch objectively.
  9. You do realize there is such a thing as a good incompletion. There was at least once today when he made the good decision to throw it away. I know he can be extremely frustrating to watch, but the dude played well today and to say otherwise is absurd.
  10. Yes it is.
  11. Sadly, I don’t know whether you’re serious or joking. I mean, I think you’re joking, but I also think it’s a true statement. By that, I don’t mean that I agree, only that it would be so North Texas.
  12. A lot of us have complained about leaving our starting QB in the game too long, but Georgia is up by 22 with about a minute left and Stetson Bennett is still in the game.
  13. You’re stepping on my toes a little bit, but this is the truth.
  14. Me too, but still a lot of time left. We have to finish.
  15. Your point is no doubt correct.
  16. The clowns in the booth. The ones on the field got it right.
  17. We need to use some clock here.
  18. Not saying I agree with the play call, but I thought he was expecting to be able to throw to the RB, but WKU played it well.
  19. They’re an FCS that doesn’t compete in the FCS playoffs. Looks like he’s about hit the ceiling.
  20. Flipping a kid and having Gameday on campus are 100% because of Deion, and I’d argue the Heisman hype is because of Deion as well. He brings attention, but that doesn’t place Jackson St. ahead of UNT in the NCAA hierarchy.
  21. You can’t really believe this.
  22. How about a black field with green numbers that you can barely see?😬
  23. So we’re below Jackson State on the food chain? Things are much worse than I realized.
  24. Good lord how could I not find that?? Thanks. I need to get a new one. I ripped a hole in that one the day before I took the picture. Think I’d worn it twice.
  25. I got it at Rally House Fairview, but I’m not seeing it on their website. I was going to post a link instead of taking a picture of my actual shirt. I bought it the weekend of the SMU game.
