  1. And to add to your analogy, let’s say the employee that quit had a major role in the presentation you were making.
  2. Sorry, I don’t know how to provide an XM link either. If you have the XM app, search Eric Morris and I think it will show up. ESPNU channel 84.
  3. No big nuggets of info, but a great interview. Some of you will not like that he ranks recruiting as 1) your current team 2) high school 3) the portal. He’s going to be good for UNT. Thanks for the heads up.
  4. Elf??? Official nickname or lame attempt at humor?
  5. I think if a team reached out to me, I’d know for sure where I wasn’t going to transfer.
  6. I'd take Morris over any of the other G5 hires and over several of the P5 hires.
  7. Out of all the coaching changes at G5 schools, who do you like better than Morris? Personally, I’d take him over any other coach hired at a G5. I can see that you might say Tom Herman, but I’m just not sure about him on the rebound…plus, all indications are that he’s pretty much a douche. cbssports.com has graded all of the coaching hires. Morris and Odom at S. Fla. received the highest grades among G5 schools with a B+. I think this is a great hire for UNT. https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/college-football-coaching-carousel-tracker-analysis-grades-on-coach-changes-2022-23-hires/amp/

  8. Seems unlikely that the starting QB of a Pac12 school would transfer to an AAC school.
  9. I don’t really understand this post, but if he’s the flip side of Prime Time I like him even more.
  10. Im more excited about this being your last post than I am about Morris…and I’m on board with the hire.
  11. When SL was fired, Morris was one of my top choices. I hadn’t heard his name mentioned so I wrongly assumed he wasn’t a candidate. Time will tell, but I think this is a very good hire.
  12. Well stated. I was thinking about the Saban comment and though he’s had more success and probably has more coaches in his “coaching tree”, Leach probably had more of an impact on the actual game of football. That’s kind of crazy to think about.
  13. There are several names mentioned that I would be happy about: Riley, Fuente, Gillespie, Harsin. I would be okay with Carthel, but not exactly excited. Anybody else and I just can’t convince myself to be excited…unless there’s a great unknown. To put things in perspective, look at all of the new hires across college football so far. There are only a few of those guys that I’d be excited to have, so from that standpoint I’m optimistic.
  14. I agree, but are we just out of touch with reality? Is UNT so poorly thought of that this is the best we can get? If this ends up being the hire, it’s a total gut punch.
  15. There’s always this:
  16. Exactly how I felt until reading up on Gillepsie. I could get on board with any of these three as our HC.
  17. I’ve definitely seen this play run in the FBS. I can’t recall who I’ve seen run it, but I’ve seen it.
  18. Will it get leaked or will the official announcement come first?
  19. What are the odds the next coach isn’t even listed on this poll?😬
  20. If he comes to UNT I’m sure going to hope so😁.
  21. If there’s a player who’s had plenty changes of scenery it’s JT Daniels. But I guess his fourth college could be the one where everything finally clicks.
