  1. Good game. Wish we could have come out on top, but this was our best bowl showing since the HOD bowl and it came against a name opponent.
  2. Yet somehow we look better than Boise.
  3. Can this helmet not be done in green with the state white or white with the state green. I don’t necessarily think this helmet is bad, but you can’t see the logo.
  4. It’s not about serving your fans, it’s about serving your team. I get it. His teammates don’t care because they’re like-minded. It’s a selfish, look out for #1 society. This is just a microcosm of that.
  5. Nothing like telling someone that their OPINION is wrong. I bow to your superior OPINION. But here’s a FACT: Without fans, there is no college football, so yeah, he kind of does owe the fans to some degree. Another FACT: you are clearly saying yourself that he’s being selfish, but somehow you can’t see it.
  6. Not playing with your team to guard your own interest is kind of the definition of selfish. And you’re saying fans are being selfish for wanting/expecting him to play with his team. That’s irony.
  7. Do you see the irony of this statement? Wow😂😂
  8. So we’re going to quit on our team because it happened to one person years ago?
  9. And let’s not act like the colleges are “using” these players to make millions. It’s a symbiotic relationship. I understand how it works in other countries and other sports. What happens to those kids who don’t make it professionally? Do they have an education to fall back on? I’ll stand by my argument that a big part of college football are the colleges themselves. Alumni are connected because they feel a part of the university. I think many fans have no clue about football or talent. They just want to cheer for “their” team. The colleges are the draw, not the players.
  10. Prove to me they wouldn't have made it without him. You can't. Someone else may have stepped up, you never know. I know for fact that he wouldn't be getting his NFL payday if UAB (or another evil college) hadn't given him a chance. They also provided him a free education that he will no doubt need since a RB's pro lifespan is so short. Save me the BS about how much money the university made off of him. The university gave him plenty in return. To me, it's not about the cost of the trip, etc. Had he told the team a week ago that he wasn't going to play, they could have planned for it. In that situation, I wouldn't necessarily have a problem with him traveling with the team, but I don't know why his (ex)teammates would want him there.
  11. Pretty sure he knew all before he boarded the plane.
  12. Reading your post and looking at the standings leaves me confused🤔
  13. And to add to your analogy, let’s say the employee that quit had a major role in the presentation you were making.
  14. Sorry, I don’t know how to provide an XM link either. If you have the XM app, search Eric Morris and I think it will show up. ESPNU channel 84.
  15. No big nuggets of info, but a great interview. Some of you will not like that he ranks recruiting as 1) your current team 2) high school 3) the portal. He’s going to be good for UNT. Thanks for the heads up.
  16. Elf??? Official nickname or lame attempt at humor?
  17. I think if a team reached out to me, I’d know for sure where I wasn’t going to transfer.
  18. I'd take Morris over any of the other G5 hires and over several of the P5 hires.
  19. Out of all the coaching changes at G5 schools, who do you like better than Morris? Personally, I’d take him over any other coach hired at a G5. I can see that you might say Tom Herman, but I’m just not sure about him on the rebound…plus, all indications are that he’s pretty much a douche. cbssports.com has graded all of the coaching hires. Morris and Odom at S. Fla. received the highest grades among G5 schools with a B+. I think this is a great hire for UNT. https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/college-football-coaching-carousel-tracker-analysis-grades-on-coach-changes-2022-23-hires/amp/

  20. Seems unlikely that the starting QB of a Pac12 school would transfer to an AAC school.
  21. I don’t really understand this post, but if he’s the flip side of Prime Time I like him even more.
  22. Im more excited about this being your last post than I am about Morris…and I’m on board with the hire.
  23. When SL was fired, Morris was one of my top choices. I hadn’t heard his name mentioned so I wrongly assumed he wasn’t a candidate. Time will tell, but I think this is a very good hire.
