  1. I know this should bother me, especially because I really like Gaddie, but I'm honestly not concerned. It's odd, because I would typically be very upset upon reading the thread title.
  2. Thoughts? I kind of like it. They also have one with the Battle Flag on back, but shockingly, the colors are wrong.
  3. Would be interesting to see how many hometown kids stay in their college town. Denton-UNT, Austin-UT, Lubbock-TT, etc. Lots of variables, but are our numbers any worse than other schools?
  4. I just made a big haul at Rally House. In Frisco, you have two Rally House options: inside Stonebriar and the shopping center just north of the Stonebriar (Target shopping center). Free shipping on orders over $100 via the website. The downside of Rally House is that everything is usually full price in my experience. Not too many bargains to be had.
  5. This is kind of how I feel. I mean, what are the odds of getting severely injured in a game? If you consider all of the players who play in all of the games throughout the college football season, the odds of sustaining a serious injury have to be extremely low. Not astronomical, but very low.
  6. I obviously hate that KD was injured, but I don’t feel any worse than if he’d have been hurt in any of the previous 13 games. His team had a game that they earned the right to play in and he was suited up along side his teammates just as he’d been for the previous 13 games. Good for him. I hope he makes a full recovery and gets a shot in the NFL. On another note, I wish Oscar would have sat out the WKU game.
  7. I think I’ve come to believe that there should be a one time transfer with immediate eligibility at the new school. I don’t like it, but it’s probably the right thing to do. Any subsequent transfer should have some type of restriction and should be known as the JT Daniel’s rule.😂😉
  8. I’m posting this against my better judgment, but how can he ever be hired again, but Briles can’t? FWIW, I agree with that he will be coaching again and I don’t necessarily think he shouldn’t be allowed to.
  9. USC is 8/9 on 3rd down conversions. If Tulane can get a few stops, they have a good chance to win. I’m a Green Wave fan today.
  10. Will you forgive Seth for his handling of our QB’s if Aune is our starter next season?
  11. We agree about wanting TCU to win it all. It gives me a sliver of hope that it really could be UNT at some point.
  12. Saying you’re losing credibility indicates that you have credibility to lose. Saying it’s obvious I don’t watch much college football is literally calling me football ignorant. Very different. But yes, agree to disagree.
  13. You’re in the minority with that opinion, but hey, it’s your opinion. Just don’t tell me I don’t know anything about college football since I don’t share this minority opinion.
  14. Funny, I was thinking the same thing about you. By great individual effort I thought it was obvious (plus I stated as much) that I was talking about his effort and will to win. It was obviously not a great performance statistically. He finished 2nd in Heisman voting and you’re comparing him to Austin Aune. That tells me all I need to know about who hasn’t watched much college football.
  15. You’re losing any credibility you may have had. I don’t know and don’t care what his stats were in the B12 title game, that was one of the greatest individual efforts you will ever see. Comparing him to Aune is possibly the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever read on this forum and that’s really saying something.
  16. I question the play call to put the game in the hands of your backup QB, but I do think he could have run it in. I don’t feel like the thread was resurrected to dogpile him. I have no doubt it would have been brought back to life had Bean been successful on the play. I mean, look at the title of the thread.
  17. Not to answer for @NorthTexasWeLove, but I took his reply as kind of self deprecating humor. I thought it was funny. I tend to be a North Texas guy, but I don’t mind UNT. I just prefer we wear green and white. As far as merchandise goes, I just made a pretty good haul at Rally House Frisco and online. I didn’t realize there was a Rally House inside Stonebriar. Based on the “Pick up in store” option online, they would seem to have a good selection of North Texas/UNT gear.
  18. I threw it out there as my theory. I hope that’s not where you got the idea🤣🤣
  19. Aune wasn’t a terrible QB. I watched enough college football this year to say that he was about average. I think the bowl game was a great summary of his career. He had two absolutely terrible passes that resulted in interceptions. Other than those two passes, he wasn’t bad…not great, but not bad. It seemed like he could be playing pretty well at times and just make the most awful pass or most awful decision. He represented the school well and by all indications he was a great teammate and team leader. I don’t see the need to disparage him on his way out. I thank him for his years here and wish him well in the future.
