  1. I agree. Please, please, please let me eat crow for thinking we were headed back to CUSA 2.0.
  2. is this one better?
  3. And just like that, the bad Photoshop of the logo isn’t needed.
  4. The ones in the bottom left are terrible, the others aren’t too bad. That nearest helmet is awful.
  5. True, but there’s something very unstable about teams on the PACIFIC coast playing in the ATLANTIC COAST Conference🤔😂
  6. Doesn’t matter. We’re going to be in CUSA again, except we’ll call it the AAC and we’ll have a good commissioner.
  7. Where do I sign? This is possibly best case scenario for UNT.
  8. Some of the HSO’s in this thread would indicate that some of you have never looked at other teams schedules…or even our own past schedules. I know things have changed, but basically every “big name” opponent we played before, I don’t know, let’s say 2015, is equivalent to us playing Tarleton.
  9. I wouldn’t mind this, but it would be terrible if it happens and we’re not on the list. That’s been my fear all along.
  10. I did see a graphic on ESPN about a week ago listing possible ACC targets and SMU was listed. It was very odd, even more so since I haven’t seen anything else about it. I expected to come on here the day after I saw the graphic and see a dozen threads about it. Almost makes me think it was one of those very realistic dreams and it never actually happened.
  11. That’s good stuff. I hope Adaway can have a great year, especially with how his season ended last year. Our RB room is very talented, but I always thought Oscar was on just a little higher level than everyone else.
  12. I didn’t think about this, but I think you make a good point. You know all of the branches will promote…I don’t know really…UNT, the stadium, both. Plus, maybe free or discounted tickets for employees which would mean more local people at games.
  13. The writer acts as if the AD just chose this name. They’re being paid $$$ to use the name. Are they supposed to say, “We’d love to have your money, but we can’t call it DATCU Stadium.”? What a dumb article.
  14. Aresco does provide hope, no doubt about it.
  15. This is my hope as well, thus my post that IF it survives we’re screwed. Things are really looking up right now. I’ve never been more excited about the future of athletics. So, a scenario where the PAC looses six schools and backfills with AAC schools is scary. It would pretty much negate the progress it seems like we’ve made in the past year.
  16. I fear if many current PAC schools leave, they will backfill with MWC and AAC which leaves us pretty much where we just came from. It’s could be reminiscent of our move from the Belt to CUSA. Now, if they fill with just MWC, we will still be okay. Additionally, if they basically stay put with what they have now, we’ll be okay. I definitely don’t see them standing pat though.
  17. If the PAC survives we’re screwed.
  18. True. Even as I typed what I did, it felt like I was downplaying the INT’s when, as UNT fans the past few years, we know what game changers they can be😩😂
  19. I forgot all about the game yesterday. I watched last week and planned to watch yesterday. Based on the one game I saw, I agree with some of the things that have been said: bad o-line, questionable play calling at times, no run game (see bad o-line). I hope Mason continues to get the starts. He’s put up good numbers except of course the INT’s.
  20. I think this is best case scenario for UNT. Otherwise we may end up in CUSA 2.0.
  21. I failed to mention it, but the school I referenced is a small 3A.
  22. A buddy of mine is an administrator at a central Texas high school that begins with the letter “M”. They received a “cease and desist” order from University of Miami Ohio because they were using the same “M” font. Not even the same color, just the same font. Seemed very petty to me, but @TripleGradmay be correct. If you don’t defend it I suppose you could lose it.
