I feel like UNT basically stood pat during all of this realignment. I don’t want to downplay the AAC losing SMU, but I don’t think it’s a huge loss. I admit that I assumed the AAC would add the two remaining PAC schools, but I don’t necessarily disagree with the decision from a geographic standpoint. You can make guesses as to what will happen in the future, but as it stands today, I think we are in about the same position we were in before all of this started. I posted in a few threads that I was very concerned about ending up in CUSA 2.0, so I’m pretty satisfied with the outcome…so far.

So often that in those situations I figured the odds us stopping them was about 50/50 at best.

Funny how perceptions are different. I feel like the flying worm is worn about once a season.

So now it’s just the Pavilion and not the Alumni Pavilion? This is meant somewhat tongue in cheek.

I saw this as well, but since it was on the Alumni Association website I assumed it was understood that it meant open to all alumni association members. It is definitely not clear. Thanks to everyone for the info. I plan to check it out with my son this Saturday.

9-3 seems like best case scenario to me, so give me a more realistic 7-5 as best case seldom happens. I’ll predict the bowl game when we know the opponent.

Maybe dumb questions, but I couldn’t find the answers online. I’m assuming you have to be a member of the alumni association to enjoy the benefits, but is it a member and one guest? I’ll be bringing non-alumni with me to games. Do you just show your membership card to gain admittance? Finger foods? Soft drinks and water? Beer and wine for purchase? Any info appreciated.

Same here. I went cheap in Section 211 row 4, so I’m thinking I’ll be in the sun the whole time. My plan is to get better seats next year, but went with these this year to test the waters so to speak.

I’ll be down low in 211 baking in the sun. Stop by and we can debate winged helmets.🤣🤣

I know m beating a dead horse, but like @greenminer said, I’m just trying to understand if you really don’t think the helmets are similar or if you’re just f’ing with me🤣 BUT… I can find four distinct differences in most identical twins. Doesn’t mean they don’t have the same DNA.

I'm not trying to say they're identical. Ours is clearly a blown-up version of the SOW. What I'm saying is that they're similar enough to know the 2nd version (ours...and many other schools) is a modified version of the 1st (Oregon's). To argue that point seems disingenuous, stubborn, or ignorant. Regardless, I'll be in section 211 cheering (and sweating) regardless of what helmet we're wearing.

I’m glad to see Adaway at the top of the RB list. I love our running backs and think they’re great, but Oscar just seems on a little bit different level. Ashton referenced this on Barber Shop podcast and I completely agree.

Maybe it’s just me, but that Rice/Philadelphia Eagles wing doesn’t look too similar to the Oregon wing that everyone has copied🤣. I can’t argue that ours looks better than anyone else’s. I mean, that’s just a fact!! GMG
