No he walks away from a system for a fast QB not a passing Qb with not great speed which he is. He is making the right choice. Which ever team gets him should be happy cause he will be great player.

Dodge would not recruit Mallett cause there no way he would be able to get him. Meager will never see the field again and Vizza will start next year to start the season off. If he does bad you will see Riley step in and start. The battle for qb will start with vizza and how he does will we either see Riley or we wont see him next year. I like vizza he has lots of upside to him. I hope he does well because i believe he is a better qb than Riley.

we will never have a chance to get him. knowing he would be bettb than any qb we have. plus michigan new coach runs a spread offensive that you need a fast qb to fun. mallet is to slow for michigan offensive. i wish we could get this chance but its about a 0% chance to get him. he is good and i think he is going to either texas or arkansas. i bet arkansas.

I heard he sign with smu this morning but im not sure on that just heard it from another board. If true i believe its good for smu but bad for jones. Leaving a ok Hawaill team for a very bad smu team. It will take a couple of years to win at smu

Meager is not good. He cant win. Its good that he got replace. Who cares if he put up big numbers he just does not win. Now for rose I am surpised about that. Last year to me it seem that he was one of our better oline men. I still believe he is better than Baily. Who I think we need a replacement for Baily because he is just no good. Missing blocks and is just to slow to get out there on screens. The other guys im not to real sure on.

I thought Peachey was going to play last game. I saw him on the sidelines dressed out but he saw no action at all. Is he still out cause the hamstring or what? I think he is probably are best tackle.

Bailey to me seem to have trouble in pass blocking. As well as getting out there to block on screen pass. He did do a ok job at run blocking. I think if Venagas moves back to guard it would help are o line better if he was there and instead of Bailey. Venages just seem to slow to play tackle. His first step just seem to slow against FAU. Drake and Santiago looked the best of the oline in the game which surpised me. But they did do a better job better then before.

Dm does not have what it takes to win. In the last 3 years how many games has he won. 2 or 3 maybe. Its time to let someone else take the snaps under center

You cant just rule out tht vizza will that start this year. Tech put up the same numbers as did meager against a poor smu team. As well meager makes many mistakes or to many that will hurt us during the season. Vizza will start before season ends because of poor play by meager. Yes he had 600 yards passing but any quarterback who throws the ball 60 plus times should put up big numbers like meager did. And you cant just say Riley wil not be a true freshmen next fall just because he has ran this offensive he entire football career but he will be because of the difference between college and highschool football. Yes i believe Riley will be better than the others in running dodge ball but he will make mistakes early just like any other freshman would. Go UNT beat FAU

Does anyone know when OT Robert Peachey might be back? Or even if he will play agianst Oklahoma?

Everyone is expected to be available for today's scrimmage with the exception of tackle Robert Peachey. The sophomore is still dealing his own hamstring issues. I hope Peachey can return soon. As I feel he could be one of are top Oline men this season.
