I did,,the groupon deal was for section 101 and 201 on the alumni side. Still pretty good though. I thought I saw on ticket master that there was still a blue block in there showing unfilled seats, so hopefully people know about this groupon deal. It basically takes 50 % off your buy. Tons of great deals on football tickets.... No excuses not to go from our fan base.

This may be a stupid question, but how or do alumni get a discount on tickets? I want to purchase two tix to this weekend's game. But they are going to be almost $100 bucks for both together on ticket master. I am a recent alumni and have always gotten student tix before this. So I'm completely oblivious to the whole process. Thanks guys.

Who is this guy? A loss to any team is a loss. Yes as a UNT fan, I would be just as mad as any SMwho fan losing to us. No one cares that the AAC is better then CUSA blah blah blah BS. What matters is the fact that we have two teams in the DFW area fighting to gain respect and rep in college football. I'm probably being to forward, but SMU needs to lose. Maybe you guys will fire your coach or drastically change your football program after the shock this Saturday (not that you guys are doing this already apparently). I saw something in 2013 when I graduated from UNT seeing my team pull off a successful season and take home a bowl trophy. I want to see the same thing in 2014, and a loss to SMUt would just prolong us from that again. So no SMU doesn't have more to lose..... We should handle a (Thinks highly of themselves) AAC team. Get out of here with that!

Yeah it was pretty freaking bad seeing 2 QB's give the other team passes. I just can't see us that much more successful if we totally bail on a passing game. You may be right though, but what about the 3rd and 10 on the 50 or 40 yd line? we can't punt it. And I rather just take our chance on the throw in that instance.

I disagree with that game strategy, especially after a game 1. I wouldn't say we should give up on passing after that game. We know the passing needs a hell of a lot of improvement after seeing it against Texas. But don't trash it right now. Yeah, and after seeing the comments about them wanting their coach fired if they lose to UNT. Will make a a win that much more satisfying. I may be speaking to highly of ourselves, but I hope we beat them by a 10 to 14 more points as a final score over them.

I know for real, I drove through uptown Dallas a couple weeks ago and saw a Audi merging into my lane. I didn't let them in because I saw a pony sticker on the back window.

Yeah it sucks for the younger people who attended the university like me that have always known it to be the University of North Texas. But I like to think of NTSU as appreciating our history, not necessarily like being called it. But when someone who is either ignorant or unknowing of our real name (UNT) to just let it pass. It's a SMwho fan calling us that, It would be a whole new level of disrespect when a commentator or a referee was calling us that on TV or at a game...

I am just as disappointed about last night as the rest of every mean green fan after our offensive performance last night, But what I just want to throw out there is, "it was game one". We all know UT wasn't as good of a team as they have been in recent years. But they were a tough contender. Our QB's weren't much help either.... Actually no help at all..... But I don't want to form to strong of an opinion just yet. I have faith that DMac will designate this week to correcting this issue as much as possible. I can't explain myself to much on this reason, but I think it will be different when they are in Apogee and the QB situation can be properly addressed after that shock last night. Go Mean Green!

It is a toss up with 2 Games for me. But I would have to say SMU first, because they are our neighbors. We compete for recruitment and rep in the DFW area. Plus a CUSA win over an AAC team would be nice, since CUSA teams leave for there. But Texsa's game is a runner up and a win over a Big 12 would do a lot too. My list, 1.SMU 2.Texsa 3.UTSA 4.Rice 5.Other Games

8-4, and I don't see UNT losing to SMU or FAU. Especially FAU! Given that both these games are at Apogee and our great coaching staff.

If all of that doesn't get the UNT family hyped for Football season, I don't know what will? Wow! GMG!
