I have always just gone to the rally house in flower mound, But the one Academy is way closer for me. I'll check it out. (Side Note) I hope someday I could see UNT gear at stores a little further outside the Denton radius. My folks live in Sherman, TX and all they have at the Academy and sports stores up there are UT and OU crap. I have to buy my dad UNT shirts down in Denton and bring them to him when I go visit them.

I think last weekend was move in weekend for UNT. You were probably seeing the new students and their families at all the restaurants showing pride as well. My sarcastic side might of responded to that person and I would have just hinted that she/he is in Denton, where the Mean Green are located.

I put 4k, and that is the guarantee amount for me. I would not doubt a 5k show up because the bus deals going on with John W. and the University. I have heard a lot of talk from alumni about attending this game on here, in person, and social media. So that makes me confident that we are going to have a good turnout.

so the SMU - U Lot Parking? Where will all the UNT'ers be? would be another question.

I'm bumping this up, because I am still very much confused on what visitors do on gameday. Is there not a parking lot near the stadium we can tailgate at? I don't really want to pay a hefty sum of money to tailgate at the Boulevard tailgate spot. For example, UNT has the old Fouts field parking lot to tailgate at on gameday. I see our visiting team set up camp there all the time on gameday. To clarify, this is for the people who want to drive themselves and set up an area. It would also be great to tailgate around other UNT fans too. C'mon @malonish, what do you think?

It's going to look like a home game for UNT at this point in Dallas. The only thing that is going to bring more SMU fans then normal, is their new coach. I am super ready for this game!

weren't you the same guy that started the other bus thread that John answered in? Lol Anyways, John at Eastside posted in your thread and said it's $20 per person with room on 3 buses. They leave around 2:30p and return after around 10:30p. Other then that, your options are the train or drive your own car.

it's really not that big of a difference academically bro. Plus UNT has a better graduation rate. Students are more likely to follow through school and finish. Personally, I try to avoid crime heavy areas, and UH can be on that list. The admission standards is slightly harder to get in at UH to UNT as well. And I'm talking slightly more difficult. Nothing to brag on.

I put in bold the key term from your post. That is all we get from the AD when we want to know why we are not getting what the fans want, "excuses". There are some posters on GMG.com that state it would be impossible to schedule a quality opponent due to a our SMU/Army series and pay check games. There is some truth to that, but an AD who gets paid 300k a year should , A) Have not put us into this predicament B) Fix the situation and give the fans more satisfaction. C) Stop feeding us excuses Every time I hear an excuse come out of his mouth, I roll my eyes. A good AD, wont stick a 5 home game season, 2 paycheck game season, FCS home games, and no effort to bring a home & home. There is a lot of disagreement on this situation, but I'm not budging with my opinion on this matter.

Why do we have to play an FCS team with SMU and Army series? I get the 5 home game deal, but why cant we just schedule another FBS OOC to make a 6th home game?
