The only TRUE negative I can see driving off a promising potential coach is RV and his baggage. Seriously though, We are in a hot bed of recruiting grounds, our facilities are probably the best in CUSA, and like Coloradoeagle said,it is one of the better chances for an up and coming coach who wants to earn his way to the P5's. But..... I'm afraid that the way NT has been hiring in the past will not change. Because the University has not made the stride to completely start over and create a new and improved change. I don't think I have to repeat myself on what needs to happen. (That dead horse is beaten to a pulp)

okay, this is finally a game I can see us winning. UTSA is missing their starting QB, and I think UNT has found our QB for the remainder of the season. I'll say UNT wins 27-21 and finally gets the "official" rivalry started..

Okay, so watching the Marshall v UNT game, I heard the commentator talking about a player on the Marshall team. He was saying that the player grew up going to UNT games and wanted to play for North Texas. However, he never got an offer from UNT... I for one roll my eyes at this. I cannot believe, that North Texas probably has (hands down) the best recruiting grounds in CUSA, and we are giving them up to our opponents.. And even SMU. One thing I hope for in this next coach, is that he takes advantage of the recruiting here locally. That he never uses the excuse, "it's hard to recruit at North Texas".
