I'm getting ready to take a trip to Vegas next weekend. So I'll see how well I can predict/gamble... UNT 26 MTSU 21.

I remember that there was talks of UNT vs. Syracuse/Oregon State/Washington State for the bowl game in 2013. When UNLV got announced, I was a tad bit disappointed that they were our opponent. At least we go ourselves a bowl win though! I hope there is another year like that one just around the corner for us.

I think Hoke is looking to coach in the P5's. I'm beggining to lean towards a coach that can bring in people with him, This is seriously a football program over haul. Chico is leaving and Cosh ain't going to cut it. We need a guy who can assemble a team of coaches that produce satisfying results for this team and our fan base.

You can have all the head coaching experience you want from a coach. But if he can't recruit... It is just a fancy resume booster...

I kinda miss Derek... He had a couple games in 2013, where I think he was the strongest factor for those 2 wins. The Ball State game, I think he had the best game of his life that day. And I don't think it would be fair to say that the defense won us that game. And I think he had a darn good game against UNLV for our bowl. So he was kind of wishy washy, but I will admit that we have not had the luxury of even a wishy washy QB ever since his departure. We have been going through a plague of bad QB's. And I don't think we have still found our guy at center. It is honestly ridiculous that we still have to aww about DT, because he's been long gone for almost 2 years now....

I have only been a fan since 2010. So I may not be allowed to have an opinion on this. But losing 66-7 to an FCS team on homecoming, firing the coach on the spot, and watching the players just quit trying, is grounds to be the worst era in all of UNT football. The only thing that would have made that day any worse, is if the world exploded after the game. And for a lot of us die hard fans... It feels like the world is ending...

And Jalie went to UNT! See, we need some more mean green graduates in the athletic program! Maybe even the AD?

I hate that too. Freaking SMU should be 0-10 right now. But that had a lot to do with McCarney and what's done is done. We have 10 more years with SMU, and I'm hoping one that they are asking the coach candidates how much do they hate the ponies, and will they take this "rivalry" (IMO) seriously.

Since we aren't getting rid of the whore games? Can we at least limit the paycheck games to one a year? And I don't want to play an SEC team in the month of November ever again. Whether we played good on defense or not...... Thank you RV, Sincerely, GreenTexan13 (Josh)

UT looked like slugs out there too. I think the outcome would have been a lot different if they played like the upper tier SEC.

52-10 I highly doubt the vols will run a 70+ score up on us. There is a great respect from those guys and Chico is friends with their coach. We might even score another touchdown when they start playing their third stringers.

that is the million treasure shillings question my friend... There is a catch though, UNT90 will be reborn after the first word of Tony Benford receiving the notorious RV contract extension. RV's last stand against the legendary, "minority" that threatened to oust the North Texas Tyrant during his parasitic reign over the Mean Green land.

The old folktale says, that if RV were to be exiled from the land of the Mean Green. UNT90 would disappear..... And his ghost will only appear on the days we finish out RV's FCS scheduled team in Apogee.

Do you guys have any fans on there that predate 1975? I would love to hear the tale of how the mighty North Texas came into Neyland and took the win that day. I'm to young... All I know is that SEC team + North Texas=. Green Blood Bath.

loop 288 is the epicenter of hell on a weekend.... You have to wait 15 minutes at each light to get through all the backed of traffic. And the stretch of road has pretty much all of Denton's red light cameras. I live in Corinth and gladly drive past the loop to go to Rayzor Ranch. I like the Ranch, but like some said before.. There isn't enough housing development over there. I use to live over in that area while I was a student, and back in that area is the older and less expensive housing.

Why is Greer even here? No offense to the guy. But, he will never play the field for North Texas when we get our new coach.
