I can't believe people still complain about helmets/uniforms... It's 2016 people, the new generations of kids love this stuff. Let them be excited! Anyways, I agree with you 100% oldguystudent. SL and this team proved 98.9% of this board wrong this year. We should be excited for the drastic turn around from a 1-11 record loss to an FCS team season in such a short amount of time.

I'm not sure who our QB will be for our last game. I haven't looked into any new on Fine's injury. But Morris can very well lead this team to a last win bowl eligibility game. The dude had a lot on his plate last night and for a lot of people, thought So. Miss was going to mop the floor with UNT. Morris stepped up and showed us that he is a leader. I'm glad he has been around all this time to help coach Fine.

Official LATech game score prediction thread
GreenTexan13 replied to MeanGreenTexan's topic in Mean Green Football
LA Tech- 36 UNT- 21 Please prove me wrong NT! I'm concerned that our offense is going to have another tough situation staying on the field and getting us the points. I think the defense gets gassed and can't hold the bulldogs the whole game. -

Please stop....

Okay, we had a bad game. no denying that utsa played the better game. we came out slow in the beginning and weren't as lucky with playing catch up, like the rice game. THE SEASON IS NOT OVER. I've seen a lot of newbie posters coming on here predicting doomsday. it is fine, we have several games left, 2 tough ones at home. I think UNT had a bad game. We should see better... There were a lot of mistakes by many people in this game. I think Fine needs to use this week to work on his confidence with the ball again. I know he can ball out, but he looked pretty bad for the most part, tonight. he did have some good runs, but the interceptions and fumble killed us this game.. he is a Freshman and will improve though. Our offense needs to put in some work and unleash hell next Saturday. that goes for every player and the offensive coaching staff. I feel like our defense could have been slightly better tonight, but for the most part they are still good at bailing out the offense. I like that the Army game was a prime example of the defense winning us the game and it just can't happen every single game unfortunately..

It's not even their stadium.they're borrowing it. Please get your own stadium UTSA. attendance looks terrible on TV, noise sounds terrible, it's an NFL scrapped stadium that shouldn't be used for CUSA games. congrats on the win, but y'all are still playing in a handy down. we'll remind y'all what stadium should look like in Denton next year.
-
I hate UTSA fans....
-
Jesus people... We have two more games at home and plenty more we can win... calm down, we had a really bad game tonight, but get off the depression train. UTSA beat Southern Miss this year, it's not like we can't beat them either...

Not a good start - UNT down 14-0 on road
GreenTexan13 replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
Exactly! he needs to take a sit for a few. let him think on the bench for a bit, before rushing him back out there. Morris can hold down the fort for a few plays. -

Fine needs to sit out for a bit. I don't think he needs to be replaced forever. but he's having a bad game and needs to take a little break. -

NT playing really bad. I wish we can go to half time already. Our guys need a talking to. -
Calm down

Come on offense... let's bounce back from that nUTSAck score...

I was looking for it on YouTube and it's unfortunately not there still. I'm really looking forward to seeing it too! Especially since this episode will be on Reffet and the defense!

He lost me after he started talking about the crowd noise messing with Fine too. The guy doesn't know that UNT fans will be there too. that 19k will get smaller... Maybe UTSA fans beating on their 5 dollar fill ups bucket has a high sound output?

I know what you're saying. In the future, make sure that you give it a little patience, me living so far away, I rely on this streaming service to watch these games, so I was in full freak out mode for the SMU game and then the CUSA streamed service games issues online. The CUSA service does this thing were you buy the 24 hour pass for 7 bucks and then when you click on the UNT game option, it tells you that you need to have the premium service (paid the 7 bucks) to access the game EVEN WHEN YOU'VE ALREADY PAID IT. What I've found, is waiting until after the game has started and then do all purchasing/opening up the game link/etc... Because trying to start the online streaming before or when the game has just started can be super frustrating and will tell you that you are not allowed access to the game and all that bull crap.

Legend has it, that he turned into a ghost and roams the halls near RV's old office...

Thanks for the info on that. Ticket buyers spend money at the game itself too (outside the tix). The more people the better!

That's how it should be. Although, a bowl game in DFW is a no brainer for this fanbase to get involved and attend. If I was a bowl committee I'd choose UNT and then LaTech if NT can't be chosen.. just based on bringing in a closer fanbase... Equaling more money. The 2014 New years HOD bowl had over 38k with basically just UNT fans having to cover attendance. I'm seeing that the HOD bowl game last December was a 20k SoMiss attendance if I'm no mistaken. It seems only logical to pick North Texas if we are bowl eligible.
