I like this post MGT. Players like this type of stuff and so do the students in the student section. "Mean Green" is not just about color, it's about our roots as a school/program.

I like the black uni's, but I agree with the majority that they should wear green when at home. Unless it is a black out game, like when we played Rice in 2013. I guess it depends on generation, but I like how we are switching out unis every game as Oregon does. Behind the scenes, recruits like this type of stuff.

Think about it, the last time we were 5-1. Was the first year we changed to UNT from NTSU. We can't say this isn't a special year for this program.

Nah I figured the UNT athletic dept owned ticketmaster and that's where we only buy our tickets... Lol On a side note, I'm in no way shape or form knowledgeable on how ticket sales work. But checking Mean Green Sports website, there still a lot to be picked from. But we are still a week out.

I wouldn't necessarily say we were expected to lose to Portland State that year. That current moment was the lowest of the low. The loss to LaTech does hurt. Almost like the 2013 UTSA loss hurt. We made it so far in the season and that one loss in 2013 gave Rice the spot to go to the championship instead of us. It's just reality of being a Football fan, it's a dedication and test of will. Fortunately there is lots of season left and anything can happen to propel us into the conference championship game over the #1 in the west, just like Rice in 2013. Our 2018 team has to put the loss in the past and focus on each opponent one game at a time.

UTEP hasn't won a football game since 2016 and got embarrassed by Northern Arizona. I get what you're saying though.. I'd be lying to say that I'm not a tad bit nervous of this game. But that is football, and I'm glad you still picked the good guys to win in your prediction.

Littrell took a dumpster fire at 1-11 and created a team that goes to bowls, to a conference championship competitor. I think your post is trolling IMO. We have a coach who believed in a historical quarterback and paid off, has brought a program that is a few hundred short of selling out Apogee, and has worked to get us a season record we have not seen since Joe Greene was a player here at this point of the season. Be patient and wait until the end of the season before you make a bold statement like this after a 2 point loss to a solid conference contender..
