emmitt I like the positive spin. But you know Dickey did not wakeup with this team thrown into his hands yesterday morning, he developed this team and he knew where his strengths and weaknesses were. His team preparation as head coach is too plan for exactly that. I know I need some of the cool-aid.

I agree 100% and this is one of my touchy subjects that will get me in to full rant. Boils down to discipline in the classroom, on and off the field. I think the head Coach really sets this tone. Discipline problems have been a trend the last four years. What is Dickey doing about? Making excuses. Right answer should be: "There is NO EXCUSE it won't happen again."

Frustration was thick in our section of the Alumni Side, and I would think the rest of the Stadium also. I saw many toss some of their tortillas as they left the stands out of frustration also.

By mid-week the board will go the full gamut from lets get rid of DD to what is wrong with you guys DD is the best ever. What is OK to ask of. or expect from DD as Alumni, Students and fans of all kind for that matter? Is better discipline? IE penalties, grades.... Is better play calling and quicker adjustments? An attempt to win OOC games? Because I think most of these and others questions are fair and should not be deemed negative. So much hinges on this from attendance to funding a new stadium. Really; "What is OK to ask and expect without being a nay sayer or negative poster?" Or is anything we may consider suspect truly of limits.

I am sure it must be some sort of rule in the UNT Coaches hand book that states if it takes more than a 10% coaching effort to win an OOC game then it is an acceptable loss. Or maybe the DD hand book, probably one in the same.

Seems like we do this each year, my confidence is in how crappy the belt is.

I wish that wasn't true, but you are right and we will probably win again this year.

Great, we throw any credibility we gain each year as Belt Champions and the Sun Belt conference itself under the bus the following year by not being able to win an OOC game. I am sure we helped ease SMU's pain a little tonight.
