  1. I just stepped out side again and it sunny in Dallas. Texas Weather!
  2. See everyone in Denton! I am leaving NOW! Orange Parking Lot.
  3. Today: Partly cloudy, with a high around 66. Southwest wind around 10 mph becoming northwest. I have not looked at the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration web site in two days and now my sun is gone. I can feel the attendance starting to slip.
  4. I was wondering that myself, I was trying to show it to a guy at work today and it was gone! WTF?????
  5. If I had a banner I would have been flying it over campus yesterday in a heartbeat! Any publicity is good publicity, I think.
  6. Oh, also if you look at the series of shots you will see the truck and trailer drove a complete lap around the track.
  7. Yeah, I though you might like this one. I guess they did not figure on a www.gomeangreen.com member flying over the field at an inopportune time. They are so full of SHHHHHHHH********TTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!! Oh well see y'all tomorrow!!!!!! GO MEAN GREEN!!!!!
  8. On the side, I raised a wild turkey and it had no problem flying. It could get close to a hundred feet off the ground it just could not sustain it. He would roost in top of my trees. They can surely glide quite well. I have been deer hunting and had a turkey land on top of the Deer blind which had a roof about 35 feet off the ground, scared the sh*t out of me.
  9. Maybe we should form an Eagle Squadron!
  10. Yup we have four Soviet Fighter/trainers L-29s from Bulgaria, but they are low wing and too fast to take pictures from. I was in a Cessna 172 yesterday. They could carry two 500 pound bombs maybe, but the weapon systems have been deactivated. But even if all four were flying right now and were still set up to carry bombs, and if we could locate an endless supply of bombs. It would take endless sorties to level that thing. I think most of western Denton would be flat before the stadium would come down. It is a brick sh*thouse, Fout's Field appears to be solid concrete built when they made things to last.
  11. I Have some more pics of tailgating and stadium More Pictures!!!!! GO MEAN GREEN!!!!!!
  12. FFR do you have any idea what they are driving on the Track? GO MEAN GREEN!!!!!!
  13. We will be here! Saturday at or about Noon GO MEAN GREEN!!!!!!
  14. I was out doing a little work for my company today, I was flying and taking pictures in the area so I took several of Fout's Field. More to come
  15. We will be out in the Orange Parking Lot around 12:00 noon Saturday. We will be setting up for a tailgating blow-out!! Or better said, a culinary show down. Maybe a grill-master cook-off whatever we do we will have plenty of food. We will likely have some beer, tequila and other beverages. Anyone in the area stop by, say hello, I will enjoy seeing you. This will be most of my groups last game this year, do to several different commitments 75% of the guys will be out of town for the last game. That said we are making this the last HURRAH of the year! The weather looks great: Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 66. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northwest. Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 40. North northwest wind between 5 and 10 mph. Is anyone setting up in or near the Orange Lot? GO MEAN GREEN!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. Them good ole days, when we were the best of the worst. When our coach was nowhere near a winning record (39-53). When we had our worst home loss in history, with two NCAA Rushing champions on the same team. That coach that said such nice things about the school and fans. Man if that is greatness, what to you expect for average. I think we are well below average for where we have been and what we have now.
  17. I was thinking down year, I could only wish. Getting stomped in the home opener against Tulsa with the third largest crowd at Fout's field was just the start. ( Record Home Loss) I would say catastrophic year!
  18. But you have to remember he self proclaimed he has the most difficult situation to overcome of anyone in the conference. I am sure that will go a long ways at K-State. I can only wish.
  19. Stebo pointed out to me that NCAA total average attendance per game restrictions will either be dropped or never enforced anyway. I believe he is right, but D1A football is an expensive game and whether a school can afford to maintain a team or not may be what actually kills a bad program. I don't think we will have over 15,000 for homecoming and the Saturday after Thanksgiving maybe 8,000 if we are lucky. If the weather is cold and rainy you could see as few as 2,500. If we get low enough they will likely pad or use the tickets sold edge or both.
  20. We have 18 season ticket holders in our group now, I will tell you what, it was tough when we were winning but now that we are losing I don't know if we will stay even. DD game play has been hard for the casual fan to watch and we have had over 15 in the last three years find better things to do. But I will admit that most were not UNT alumni, but I try very hard to get more in our group each year. After Tulsa we have not had the whole group out at one time again. Many of the new comers were disgusted. And as much fun as I have tailgating, many find it hard to go sit in a parking lot to eat and drink when they have limited time for themselves and their families, and the game consists of boring uninspired football.
  21. This made me ill! 83 Texas State They are almost as close to first place as we are to them in the rankings.
  22. You are kidding, right?
  23. But Plumm, We won four straight conference titles, well really three outright and one we were co-champions. I mean man up until four years ago there was no-way you could be this bad and actually win a conference championship with a losing record. Things are pretty rosy its kind of like our own private division, I mean we can constantly lose OOC games, have a very crappy record overall and still be the best in the conference. The gray zone between D1A and D1AA is the SBC or maybe we should be called the practice belt conference, a complete conference made up of practice teams just for the real D1A to tune up against. Just what I always wanted to be be happy with. Best of all we need to back a head coach that has been slipping for three years just because of the SBC titles. But we should not look at the absolute lack of discipline on the field, off the field and in the classroom. We don't need to worry about how much easier it would be to bring in a new coach if we still have fans in the stands. I mean heck its pretty easy to build up the fan base in Denton. 8 long years DD has prepared and recruited why would anyone think we should not be one of the worst in Division 1. We shouldn't worry that after DeLoach left, our team has showed no real improvement, but yet somehow we should think that DD will just turn around our team from one of our worst seasons in history, to a competitive team next year. Why not, hell I guess you can't get much worst, you know when you are on the bottom there is no direction but up. I believe in magic! It is not the head coach's job to help talk-up the football program, so why not use the fans and the school for an excuse. UNT doesn't really need the head of our football team to talk up the team, and let the rest of the world know we are investing heavily in our athletic program and buildings. That is the fans' problem. Dang, what is all the hubbub bud? Things are pretty damn good!
  24. More so than is probably healthy! It couldn't of happened to a better team.
