I totally agree! DD coaching ability is beyond crappy. Wake up folks this is much much much worst than a down year this is one of our worst seasons in school history. It is very clear DD lacks the ability to turn this team around in one year. Meaning Next year under DD will be a total loss also. COUNT ON IT!!! Replace him now!!!!!!!!!!!! Can his A$$!!!

The simple answer is; the problem was not with the people who took the survey but how the survey was set-up and interpreted. There were very few if more than one question on the whole survey that were worded in a way that Athletics would be picked high. There were several questions asked multiple times but worded slightly different. Even if everyone picked athletics high it would never be first or even in the top 5. It was a truly rigged survey, to produce the results the creator of the survey wanted to see. And brother athletics weren't high on his list.

That is so pathetic it is sad!

The alumni side was not 90% full by no means. Maybe at best 75% I tend to guess high and I am always within a thousand my numbers remain at 15-16,000. I believe there was significant fudging last Saturday night!

What did you expect? There was something like one question about Athletics. Make a survey to reflect your results you want I thought that was obvious to anyone that took the survey. Its true in the media any poll or survey taken. Very few are not bias! "p. Supports UNT's renewed emphasis on a competitive athletics program" came in third to last in the Alimni and friends section, such a joke!

A couple of things you seem to have missed are several on this board have had problems with DD all along, and several more were on the fence. DD just getting by to win the Belt, Discipline, play calling, OCC, fan bashing, school bashing etc.... That is how it has been for the last four seasons I have been a member of this board. Also I would call this more than a off year, worst home loss in History and a 2/8 record with one of the easiest schedules we have had in recent years. Maybe he deserves another year in a football sense, but for an over all UNT & Mean Green program building sense no dang way. But I have no faith in DD and have seen nothing that makes me think he is a talented coach. I think DeLoach's Defense deserves most of the credit the last several years.

Most of us don't live in Denton and it is something I would like to know when in involves UNT. I only saw it because I was looking up that Chuck Cox article. I might look at the DRC 6 times a year and you are right, it is usually for college football. I was still shocked that no one said anything.

NT80 Maybe you are part of that small group. Hummmmm? Here is what it says about good old very heavy set Chuck Cox: Chuck Cox writes about high school sports for the Denton Record-Chronicle. He should stick to High School after reading that crap. He has no idea, unless he is just going for suck-up points with the DD staff. Or the Denton Record Chronicle considers UNT football high school quality or level.

At my job we set very high goals because the end product is directly related to those gaols. Then we strive to come up with ways to surpass those goals. If you have a "can do" attitude, with a "how can we make this happen now" approach good things happen very good things. But all I see at UNT concerning football is "why we can't do it now", "that is too much to expect", "That will never work", "we are not good enough", "at least we are better than before","we can't be competitive with the big boys", etc...

We had all 18 of ours used or scanned but we do that every game. No doubt the turn out was better than I expected. Great weather and the best tailgating has to help!

I don't know but I did get hit in the ear by a beach ball and now I am having trouble hearing in that ear.

I believe there was quite a bit of fudge factor in the attendance number tonight. There was no one in the end-zone stands and the student and the alumni side were not full. Most likely 15.000 -16,000 at best. Maybe it was new math, or maybe they figured out how to count the people who stay in the parking lot and tailgate the entire game.

Well I am now really remembering how it was at UNT when I was a student and we did anything. Basically the lies and the crap run deeper than most people could ever imagine. IT IS COMPLETE AND TOTAL BS!

It did not look like anywhere near 20,000 to me but what do I know. I would have guessed 15,000 and I have been very close most of the time.
