When we are talking Texas schools I hate aTm the most, Texas is in the middle of the pack for me. I have never liked Mack Brown, he just bugs the hell out of me. But I really hope that UT brings a National Championship back to the state of Texas. I think this is good for all Schools in Texas. I don't know but I have been told that Californee is full of fruits, flakes, and nuts. Texas is the state you want to live in.

I was thinking spring as in season in response to;

Other than spring is almost three months away is there any reasons to be optimistic? I mean has there been any changes made of any kind that should make DD style of coaching any better? I would really like to look forward to something but right now I think DD going to do just about nothing next year. In fact I think we will be lucky to win two games next season under DD. My only optimism about our football program for next season, at this moment, rests in tailgating!

Lowlights- or what may be the pitch black list should be much longer. No home-field wins, Worst home-field lose in history, Little to no adjustments during games, Constantly being out-coached (this includes you Ramon Flanigan), No discipline, Longtime fan being rushed and threatened by the UNT offensive coordinator (thats you again Ramon Flanigan), Bad mouthing of fans by head-coach, Head-coach did not/could not inspire team, Whining head-coach (he is in the most difficult situation) poor baby, Poor recruiting, No recruiting local area, etc.. That is only the tip of the iceberg. Please fill in my gaps.

I think there is a something to this, pregame activity theme for every home game would be great Chili Cook off, BBQ contest, Best burgers, best sausage, and others. Where's the beef contest!!!! They kind of started this at the end of the season but the best tailgate party & best food. Video for the jumbo-tron. Maybe an Intramural Olympics to get the dorms, apartments and the Greeks to compete before the game.

Is that Diet Coke boy or Defensive Coordinator? I get so confused Everybody picking on that hard working Diet Coke boy what would be do without him. For attendance we need lots of things, the work RV has been doing making the game-day experience with tailgating has helped tons. Something on the field a little more exciting to watch could not hurt. Wining many more of our OOC game is important. More recognizable opponents at home for the general public. A coach that continually gets the team and the fans pumped up and believing they can and will win. I mean not just at the game but publicly talks up our football program and why not to miss seeing our team play. But ultimately fans will attract fans it gets contagious we can get there just DD gave the fan-base one hell of a Flu-shot this year.

Pretty funny, that is how several conversations have gone for me this year. I distilled it down to just coaching also, because it is what is. I have had that same question thrown at me at least a hundred times this season. I am thinking about having cards printed.

If you have joined the dark-side and you start looking at the UNT world without your green-shaded glasses on, you will likely get more and more pi$$ed about where we are waking up to find ourselves. It is like a great awakening and you realize that we are already screwed next season as long as DD is here. Damn glad to have you!

With this kind of attitude more like 50 years is the expectation.

Here is something I find interesting. Since 1950. Before Dickey we were 250-246-15 which gives us .504 overall winning percentage. Look at what DD has given us 289-301-15 which gives us a .490 overall winning percentage. Thanks DD for making us losers.

It has to be that way unless they make some kind of one way rule that only players from top fifty ranked schools can move to 51-119 ranked teams and only if they did not start any games that season.
