  1. GO MEAN GREEN!!!!! We are all behind you!!!
  2. The Austin American-Statesman Nothing would make Thomas happier than regaining the conference title and giving the Mean Green a third national rushing champion in four seasons.
  3. Rookie Cobbs hangs tough At North Texas, Cobbs quickly seized the opportunity to make a name for himself as a runner. He led the nation in both rushing (152.7 yards per game) and scoring (11.5 points per game) as a junior in 2003, but then misfortune befell him. Rookie Cobbs hangs tough Pats' Cobbs makes a bid With 243 all-purpose yards — he's padded his rushing totals with five receptions for 100 yards — Cobbs also leads the team. He's averaging 7.8 yards from scrimmage every time he touches the ball. Granted, the bulk of Cobbs' work has been done against opponents' reserves, but the young man from the University of North Texas who was supposed to be just passing through New England in the spring has been the leading contributor to the Patriots' rushing game this summer. Pats' Cobbs makes a bid
  4. Do you have the link?
  5. I am just surprised that we are not on the list didn't we finish last in the conference just last season. And yet three Sun Belt teams are on the list.
  6. Not to far away, thanks I had not looked yet.
  7. I was flying last month in the area and took these. UTA Campus
  8. That is sadly funny, but all too true!
  9. Wow, for the situation that Patrick is in you couldn't ask for a better article at this time. Now after the final cut an article about him making the team would be better.
  10. He represents his University so well.
  11. Is there a list of the NCAA rushing titles by year, and I wonder why his 2003 NCAA Rushing Title is never listed about Patrick in all this media attention.
  12. DD won't go out of his way to try and win this game. If running up the middle doesn't work we won't win. That said, with no real special game planing. UNT-0 UT-86
  13. Oh yeah! Got to love them stainless steel troughs, just don't eat the mints please.
  14. And on the Sporting News. Belichick takes big win in stride
  15. Patrick is all over the place. Patriots Extend Unique Olive Branch
  16. I didn't see anyone post their Motorhome. I was just wondering what the big Motorhomes get per gallon and how many gallons do they hold?
  17. Mike Vanderjagt told the Star Telegram: "Yeah, I had a talk with Bill before the game. I don't think he's really happy that I'm not playing, but he doesn't know my groin," said Vanderjagt Vanderjagt's injury a frustrating situation I know I have the mentality of a 12 year old.
  18. I know, but I still question teams like; Florida Atlantic at 1404 miles from Denton. Florida International at 1461 miles from Denton - - - - - - - - - Troy is 798 miles away. Middle Tennessee is 711 away Adding those two doubled our farthest conference games. *distances determined with Google maps.
  19. 1) Florida Atlantic: 15,064 30)Florida Int'l: 9,086 33)Arkansas State: 8,802 38)Mid.Tenn.St.: 8,128 41)La.-Monroe: 7,860 46)North Texas: 7,338 55)Troy: 6,336 66)La.-Lafayette: 5,884 Mileage I don't know that this means anything. But here are some senseless stats 6 out of 8 Football Programs in the Sun Belt Conference have more than average traveling. 7 out of 8 Football Programs in the Sun Belt Conference are in the top 50% of most travel for a team. With Lafayette at #66 out of 118, 59 being middle. At the end of the Day it seems like the Belt travels a whole lot more than I thought. I also thought this conference was put together for more regional games and less travel. Maybe this is a whole lot better than before.
  20. Damn glad to have you back OldTimer, and good luck with your test I hate stress and stress tests, about 20 years ago when I was 21 I developed a heart murmur and one of my Cardiologists that speicalized in arrhythmia put me on a treadmill for over an hour trying to find a double skip. He didn't find one worked out OK in the long run.
  21. Too bad you didn't/couldn't make them all get on their knees and recite after you "North Texas Rules & SMwho sucks" five times or everyone here is getting a PI or MIP. Especially since it seems to have been an illegal rush party.
  22. No kidding O-line. I kind of expect to beat the MUTs this year.
  23. I am worried that this may be a bleak year also, I hope I will have to eat those words. I was looking at Coaching history it is kind of interesting at least to me. UNT Coaching history
  24. Just recommendations; if beer sales can help attendance and help revenues more power to it. People would not sneak as many flasks in and those that run to the parking lot at halftime for a cold one could actually see the band.
  25. The way we are going I would bet that we still don't know who the QB will be come SMU game.
