With the plans that UNT will have a student body of 45,000 - 50,000 by 2015 that is kind of a joke. A expandable 45,000 seat stadium minimum is a must if we are really committed to moving our program to the next level.

I would call our ticket office all the tickets they sell help the school if I understand it correctly, and they will get you the seats in the UNT section.

The elevations are nice and as long as there are bars, coffee houses and restaurants the students will have a place to hang out, and it will develop a personality of its own, don't forget the rest of Fry street is still there.

Well if the fry street property values were depressed they would not have needed the CVS to anchor the development, actually for the land Fry street is high for the area.

Well you really need to pay attention to the details, the parking lots at the arena are very nice. but if that is what you like fine. I am in the retail real estate business and my conclusions were not based on appearances. And adding a porch is not a major renovation in the retail market. In the end the the market will determine what happens to the rest of Fry street. But please I hope beyond hope we can all agree that Fouts Field needs to go.

Thats giving way to much credit to Fry street, most people in DFW don't even know it exists. As far as the businesses being able to make it time will tell, but but from what I saw, from a retail real estate view point you are misinformed as to how successful they were. As Far as how clean it is, I guess I need some of the cool-aide to see it for more than I do. The nicest part is the stripe where the Tavern is, that parking lot between the buildings is a hole, the inferno is a hole and so on. Good grief its not that big of an area.

I do agree with your philosophy but you would have to have one blind eye and the other one closed to find Fry Street as much more than a run down area similar to a hood in in south Dallas. Now with a romantic eye especially of an alumni you can get a lot more. But most of the those businesses were hardly making as it was and if they faced real market rents would have folded anyways. Unless you are suggesting that the City of Denton should subsidize this area so students can drink and hang out.

Really not sure what is pathetic about it? I have seen the elevations and they are very nice, and the site plans are much more detailed.

They should have wiped out the whole block it would have been so much better for UNT. The project includes much more than a CVS. I have not seen a recent site plan.

I have seen the DOT plans and it has four lanes or more from the Lake Lewisville Bridge past 380 35 35 b Overview I had some that showed the actual proposed highway layout but they are at work somewhere. Rayzor Ranch

Bowl game here we come, I had to vote for the bowl. Every time I read up on Dodge I get goosebumps and I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas, which now feels like we are at thanksgiving and my parents just told me I was getting the best gift ever.

We ordered our tickets Friday to the SMU game which they said was the deadline for season tickets to get in the lottery for the UNT allotted tickets. We ordered 10 but are only guaranteed 4 even though we have 20 season tickets this year and have had at least 18 season tickets for the past 5 years. I figure we will end up with all 10, but the exciting part is they said they were not sure there was enough to go around. What a problem to have.

You know I had to get eye surgery in February, wow I did not think about the connection. Congrats Jim! Now I think you should be shooting for 100K!!!

White looks really good to me, I liked the green too. With all the recruiting TD is pulling off already, he can paint them solid white for all I care. If TD keeps up the energy that I keep seeing and hearing about with the team, marketing the school and the team, this incredible recruiting, and what I expect will eventually turn in to success on the football field, he can do whatever he likes with the uniform and helmet.

The Rangers would have a .500 record wow. MY GOD! Do people still go to Ranger games? Do we really need the new Cowboy's Stadium right next to this black hole. I hope the Cowboys don't catch whatever the Rangers have. Cough....Hicks virus
