  1. What is the argument here? That they have a larger percentage of students in dorms? Their enrollment is roughly 11,000 and we are at around 35,000. If we could find the stat I would bet they have more students percentage wise living in apartments, Sorority and fraternity houses on and near campus then we do. I know when I went to UNT almost half commuted, meaning did not live in Denton. Funny thing is most of the SMU students I meet these days are not from Dallas or the Park Cities. The Park Cities kids tend to go out of town to school.
  2. GreenN'walinsVet Thank you, you have been updated.
  3. Do we all have to hate SMU? Because I don't care enough to hate and it seems kind of small, I just want to kick their teeth down their throats in a football game. I want bragging rights again in my office plus a 1 & 1 record for the season.
  4. Couldn't get it to vote, and it only shows that 3 votes total have been cast!
  5. Looks pretty black in that picture.
  6. we were wondering that too especially when we ordered our tickets very early, the ticket office needs to wake-up
  7. 43rd in Passing offense. Now that is is really new.
  8. Still a joke with Fresno State in first beating Sacramento St. Not much of an indicator.
  9. Who cares, what a complete joke. They have Baylor ranked ahead of Texas and ATM, Michigan. Better yet they have Utah State ranked way above them and ahead of Arkansas and Ohio.
  10. Thanks guys great as ever! See you in Dallas Saturday, looks like it might rain. Saturday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 92. South wind between 5 and 10 mph. Saturday Night: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 75. Southeast wind around 5 mph becoming west southwest.
  11. 09-04-2007 North Texas Media Luncheon Dodge starts at 32:00 minutes
  12. I love it, why not, make something useful out of a blowout, screw the score!
  13. Rice went to a bowl last year, vs. us with only three wins.
  14. I never thought about that way and you are probably right, though the generic math is still how I would look at from the outside so it still kind of works.
  15. No they are not. I would take that bet, if I was in Vegas. It is just generic math for the odds makers, new coach, new system, young players, and OU score. SMU has seasoned players and there are many predicting them to win CUSA.
  16. Is the video feed free?
  17. I was under the impression there would be one each week.
  18. I am betting on 35,000 plus.

  24. I am not very mopey, I am glad TD didn't fold and try to burn the clock, it gave our players more experience. The more reps in real game play with our new offense the better. OU and most the top 10 teams play games they feel they can easily win the first game of the season as a warm up or scrimmage. Why not treat the OU game that way once you know you were going to lose? It is just a W or L in the column after the game. I said before in terms of a blow-out in this setting I don't care if it is 30 points or a hundred. TD is building from scratch, its not like this is his forth year here and we are having record blow-outs like the last two years. I think the mopes who want mope go ahead if it helps, hell mope your hearts out! I would think that tonight's SMU game would be a good time to stop, but what do I know I not very mopey. Go Mean Green!!!!!
  25. I love our band and I don't want to beat them up, they do a great job. This has more to do with band policy. Mr. Williams thank you for all you do and for taking the time to post. Your post is very enlightening for me and I am sure other members of this board. I would be in favor of having more green on the Green Brigade's summer outfit, on the t-shirts or maybe even baseball caps. The rainbow flags I wish would go a way, and I know among my group they are not well received. Once again thank you for all that you do, and for everything the Green Brigade does for our fine University. Thank you
