  1. Rangers have an early start, once again, to settle into an nice last place lead in the West, and I am sure they will give it their all to lead the American league in last soon enough. It would be nice if Hicks would find a DFW buyer for the Rangers.
  2. Second shot at Photoshop slide show. The Game and all my shots. GMG Bowl V
  3. I took my first stab at Photoshop automated slide show, so it is a little to be desired. Spring Game 2008
  4. Green wins again!!!
  5. Stars tearing it up! 4 - 2 Stars Love it, Flyer you may not get to see that 6th game (knock on wood)
  6. I saw this guy... (Click to enlarge)
  7. That is the best news I have heard in a while, that guy is such at tool, but I don't much care for Collinsworth either but he is worlds better then Gumbel. Last year I almost put my foot through my TV, Bryant Dumbel was lost and clueless, I thought brain might explode listening to that mousy voice with those constant mistakes. Why anyone at HBO thinks Bryant Gumbel is what people want to see and hear is beyond me. Every time his show is on HBO I want a refund for that time slot.
  8. I think Detroit will be pretty rough this year, at least for the Stars.
  9. That can't be real? Not only is he a client but he also owns the helmet head hairpiece for men club.
  10. Got to like that start!!!
  11. The windstorm on the front of that storm system last night was pretty wild. It woke me up before the rain even started, which is pretty rare I usually need heavy thunder to get me up. The wind sounded like a running freight train, similar to a tornado but the wind kept coming in waves. I could here my trees cracking like twigs. The power came on a 11:00 pm so about 19 hours without electricity. I am in the Midway & Royal area. My cousin lives up in Castle Hills (Hebron) and the wind damaged several roofs and took his kid's trampoline for a 300 yard ride where it ended up in a crumpled mess.
  12. Well I feel the Stars have a better chance then the Mavs, and hockey has always been a turn it on in the playoffs kind of sport. I think the Stars can do it.
  13. Emmitt post away, I just wanted a new thread with some interesting stories. Lets see them.
  14. Just waiting for the newest edition to the tales by Emmitt of DPS, I been enjoying the read.

    Gmg Bowl

    Don't you mean 4th Straight?
  16. I will take the Stars in 6, I think they get their act together and play like mad men!
  17. Because we would actually like an alumni base that feels connected enough to the University to donate, whatever that version of UNT is.
  18. They have been running at or near, and have just now slowed a little. Regardless they have a sellers market right now and more refineries would produce more competition in price.
  19. Except cars are not a big violator in the whole green house gas problem Cattle produce more global warming gases than cars Now they are looking into Cow Belching, and they think there impact could double. Swedish to study belching cows Just thank God that the for the Buffalo hunters or we would all be under water by now.
  20. Plain and simple there were no new refineries built USA for over 25 years thanks to the EPA & Tree huggers, so the existing refineries are producing at capacity and it is a sellers market. Then add the 30 to 50 cents a gallon extra for the crappy ethanol, and finally Federal and state tax.
  21. Except in any respectable stats model you throw out any extremes high and low, so Gates would not be included.
  22. I hear especially in Dallas! Last year we tailgated full bore, and there was a guide that said alcohol was OK I am am going with that assumption. Does anyone know for sure?
  23. Well its good to know I graduated from the Value Select University that has it all! VSU!!!! VSU!!!!
  24. Football stadium debt typically never comes close to being recovered in terms of revenue or business brought to a City. The Cowboys have been in Irving for almost 40 years why should Dallas care at the kind of cost we are talking about. Dallas has lots of debt to pay off and we have burdened the heck out of Hotels and Rental car companies to the extent they just prefer now to locate outside the city limits of Dallas.
  25. No doubt! Thank God for small miracles, let Arlington pay for it for the next 50 years.
