Sad...........
KingDL1 replied to SUMG's topic in The Eagles Nest (There Should be Pie For Everyone Forum)
Well getting involved means risking a lawsuit or worst these days it seems, you had better be damn sure what you are running into before you risk your life. Which I think is interesting, I think many people would risk their lives before they would risk being sued or prosecuted. Damn Liberal courts, I hate libs. -
Father's Day Special Clip With Td And Rodge On Ch 11
KingDL1 replied to FirefightnRick's topic in Mean Green Football
Todd did say the next 5 or 6 years should be interesting, there is no way Riley plays this year unless something wild happens injury wise. -

Don't be silly it does not have to kill 45,000 people, but just expose and give proper radiation poisoning to 45,000 people expandable to 65,000 in the near future. If you are not going to do it right don't do it at all! -
Shock AND Awe!!!!!!!!!! Like the guys that read his blog forgot, not really sure what he is thinking. Maybe Vito has a new editor, maybe Dodge pi$$ed him off again, possibly his woman left, or he just needs to get laid. Could be a combination of all above. Brett please cheer up!!

Is it getting cold out? Do you notice ice forming on the trees? Could hell be freezing over? At the time of this post FirefightnRick has a post total of 9,603 and PlummMeanGreen has a post total of 9,622 a mere 19 short. Can this really be? Especially with stadium talk going wild? Times are a changing that is for sure. Now this is news!!!!!!!!!

What the hell are you talking about? Have not seen Dodge? I hear that has a nuclear powered hemi. -
Didn't Gio set the Freshman Passing record last year? I don't think we will see Riley play this year unless injuries tied with a shot at the NO Bowl line-up. I don't think our offense will die without a string of injuries, if we do go 0-5 I just can't see it being a result of our offense. Now saying that our first four games out of the gate will be tough, Rice will not be a cake walk either. Now FIU as the fifth game had better be a win! If we were in our 3rd year with Dodge I think we may have a 3-2 record after a scheduled start like this, maybe a 4-1 in his fourth year. So what do you expect out of the 1st 5 games? I would be real happy with 2-3 start and I expect 1-4, and I secretly hope for 3-2 because I think it is possible with Dodge. Anything more is complete fantasy in my opinion but crazy things can happen. I do believe Todd when he says he goes out to win every game.

Unt Defensive Back Prospect List Dwindling
KingDL1 replied to UNTflyer's topic in Mean Green Football
John, I didn't realize we were still recruiting outside of walk-ons for 2008, Brett still seems to be focused on the negative as of late. I am not looking for a cheerleader by no means and maybe it is just me, but it is pretty early to be talking about dwindling anything for next years class. Kind of silly to me, but whatever. -

I love Brett's negativity, he needs to get laid. Is it my misunderstanding? But a recruit can't sign a letter of intent until February correct? -

Do you use some of that new college math? I believe the NCAA may use it. -

Iraq is not really a war, Iraq surrendered years ago. These are just insurgent attacks, just in the old days we would not have put up with the PC BS side of it and would have just kick butt. But better in Iraq then on the soil of the United States for these extreme Muslim Terrorists.

No, but you would see several high school playoff and championship games played in our new stadium.

Some glowing comments. Cough-- did you see the difference in perception between capacities.

Gas Prices

Every time I see that map, and see that China is now in our backyard. By the why Cuba offered bidding rights to US companies but we would not let our companies bid. Makes me want to beat the shit out a tree huger, EPA bastard==any will do. -
Vito makes it sound like they stole them; What were are odds on this one if he gets the chance to play with is brother? Henderson was not ours either, but the blog sounds overly negative and slightly sour. As if we had lost kids that had already given a verbal commitment. It seems as though Brett wants some shock value.

I don't think Mendoza hurt us at all, if not for his lack of ability we would not have Deloach back. Most if not all recruits knew we were rebuilding last year and they know Mendoza is long gone by now. If there is anything to be negative about. I guarantee you it is the severe NCAA penalties we received because we appear (wrongfully I might add) that we can't keep football players in school. Parents don't like NCAA violations that appear to deal with a poor education system for football players, what at negative connotation that gives. But other then losing the 5 scholarships, I still think Dodge is up to the challenge. If not we better start the season with a win against Kansas State, that should get the ball rolling.

The $6100 Watermelon

Now I kind of want to taste a Black Skinned Watermelon -
Rick, how many calls do you get to see what good dogs Pits can be, or would it be fair to say you see the worst side of a dog breed, that has been in areas mis-bred the worst by Dumbass people, and now there seems to be an over abundance of them especially in the poorer areas of town? There are still well bred Pits around, and if the popular dog in the hood was still the Chows odd are that we would be hearing about chows again. That is why I like the controls San Francisco used, all pits must be nurtured unless you have a professional breeders license. Neutered and Spayed pits are much less likely to be aggressive. I say eliminate the Dumbass people.

Keep in ming they had preliminary plans, not full sets that get expensive. Wiring, pluming, lighting and others are added to make a full set when a final design is decided on, that is when it starts getting serious.
-
They really need to get started by the 1st quarter 09 to even have a shot at the 010 season, I still think that is the goal. Or at least everything I have heard up to now leads me to think that.

I not trying to hammer Chows just that any breed that is big enough can be a problem if allowed to spiral out of control. Chows were running pretty wild over parts of Grand Prairie and Oak Cliff at the time I was a UPS driver. I was a driver for about 6 years and worked in both GP and Oak Cliff. Oak Cliff at the time was much worse with dogs in yards and wild roving strays. I drove from 94 to 2000.
