I think K-State is much tougher then we thought this year, Tulsa beat a very bad team and that does not prove a lot to me. UAB only had two wins last year with a win against Tulane and WTF Alcorn State. And Rice over SMU big deal their defense looked worst then last year. I think both Rice and Tulsa are winnable but probably tough games no reason to panic yet.

Maybe he can and maybe he can't, don't discount that he has had easy-ish schedules and as many as 9 home games in a season. A home game under any coach in Hawaii is slanted in their favor for numbers of reasons from jet lag to away teams having focus problems while in the island's of Hawaii.

There is more money and exposure in a BCS auto bid conference that is for sure. The teams you would play at home would bring in big crowds, I don't think a school as big as UNT would be on the bottom for long. Telling a recruit he can play in the Big 12 vs the Sun Belt is a pretty big difference. Plus then we could win all our OOC games against teams from the Belt. I would take a BCS conference in a heartbeat.
