This would be the most one-sided, NCAA is a shit organization, can't help but appease stupid fans rules that they've ever put in the books. If this happened in, say, and LSU-Auburn game, it'd get the same amount of attention, but there's no way the NCAA would take a second look at this. This is why the NCAA is a crack-pot organization that does nothing but extend it's bias towards "established" schools. For the love of everything holy, why not just kick the G5 to a completely separate division level, and never let anyone improve their team? People don't watch sports to keep track of rules violations, and a rule like this would only perpetuate this problem. I want to watch a damn good football team dominate another team "that they shouldn't." That's what makes college sports great. You've got kids playing their hearts out and now the NCAA wants to kowtow to schools with a larger fanbase whose feelings got hurt. Give me a %*#)(@# break!!!

If FAU pulls off the upset here, Mason Fine gets a bump. We actually need FAU to win.

I can see FAU and FIU winning their games, but La Tech isn't coming out of Death Valley with a win.

This was a really good read. I hope the "Peter Pan Play" name sticks to this because it's so incredibly appropriate.

Two things can be true at once. We believe both of these things.

Looking at our schedule: Liberty: No gain, even if we win. La Tech: if they win against LSU, and we win against them, we get all La Tech and LSU land. If they lose, no gain UTEP: Already beaten by WSU, so no gain. USM: They play Auburn the week before us. If they lose, and we beat USM, we gain nothing. UAB: Plays Charlotte, La Tech, and Rice before us. If they beat all of them (expected), and we beat them, we gain all of La Tech's seemingly reclaimed land. That's enough for now.

Either your idea of Fascism is incorrect, or your idea of Liberty is... I believe our secondary will have something to say about that. We hammered them because the defense and special teams stepped up. Offense only scored half the points, and in a perfect world, they score 40 each game with the defense adding on top of that.
