Not the worst thing in the world. In any case, I SOOOO wish this were available when I was in school.

Where did you stay in your time at UNT?
Jason Howeth replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
They renovated at a huge cost, and even added bedrooms upstairs. If you remember, there were no stairs when we occupied the house. -

You should see it now. Some other fraternity took it over, and it now sleeps something like 22 guys. -
Yeah that's just you buddy. Son of Worm refers to the previous logo, and considering brands don't like to host many Throw Back Thursdays, they're not going to reference an old, outdated logo. Granted, I think the old logo is legit as a throwback, but nobody asked me.

Kerr Hall, B Tower, 8th floor. Then Timber Links Apartments Then Waterford Apartments -
I looked at this as, "who could we lose to, and still look really good?" For that answer, I think the world sees UofH as the better program over Cal. If you picked Cal and Houston, your problem is that you're saying you prefer people look at a loss to an inferior SMU team. If you win at Cal, that's a huge win on a national stage. If you win at U of H, it's a nice win, but not a P5 win. I'll take SMU so we don't look bad, and Cal for the P5 win and lose to U of H, which is a better team than the other two, and would still be looked at as a hard-fought G5-matchup.

Ryan Palmer is also a UNT alum, but I haven't kept up with him recently.

Small world found a North Texas fan across the pond
Jason Howeth replied to jtm0097's topic in Mean Green Football
The biggest thing is that our brand is finally making waves across the state. People want to buy our merchandise, which helps us all feel interconnected with each other in real life (not online). @jtm0097 what are your recommendations for site seeing and places to visit? -

I hate that kid so much. Almost everything he says is factually false. Watch his "definition" of socialism and then say back to me what he thinks socialism is... -

Not necessarily. He's got a huge following among conservative groups, and has done this at SMU, TCU, UTA, and UTD, so far. -

He's not. But nothing prevents him from coming to the common areas of the campus. Is that where you were going with that? -

I can't wait for the rest of the segment to come out. It's a spectacular, engaging format that people come at pretty combatively. If anything he needs to come to our campus much more often. -
How about the girl and guy in front of him that are too bothered with each other to even stand?

2019 NCAA Coaches Poll *UPDATED WEEKLY*
Jason Howeth replied to Jason Howeth's topic in Mean Green Basketball
I actually thought about this as we saw votes steady at the 7-9 range a couple weeks ago. I think that's the reason voters will still calling us a Top 25 team while Duffy and others were injured. Problem is, for example, Duke wouldn't be number 1 without Zion Williamson if it kept losing. Surprisingly, it didn't work out like normal for us.- 27 replies

I'm excited for this kid because our offense is dependent on WR, but with that a few notes: It looks like he doesn't have the blinding speed you'd want from an outside WR, but his down-field sight is really good. He's got a great ability to slip past defenders after the catch. That being said, a lot of his highlights in the reel are due to significant breakdowns in coverage. I'd like to see more of him.

@kj86 props for the Foreigner album cover as your photo.
