Pre-Season Sagarin C-USA Rankings
Jason Howeth replied to meangreen24's topic in Mean Green Football
5 teams ranked below all 120+ FBS schools, and additional FCS schools. -
Oh I see. The little sculpture looking things in the brick wall. Got it.

Am I the only one that doesn't know what "reliefs" are?

I'll just point out that we're doing a better job of bringing P5s to Apogee, but geeze, looking at 2023 SFA, @SMU, Memphis and Wyoming) ain't that great. Even if we get 7 home games that year.

Same can be said for a rivalry with SMU

Ranking Conference USA's 2019 non-conference schedules
Jason Howeth replied to Philip Ferguson's topic in Mean Green Football
You think we're going 4-4 in conference? Please tell me where 4 losses come from. At MOST with a collapse of the defense and Fine going down, I see 3 losses -
What we really need is some UNT students pulling a prank during game week against SMU. Paint their admin building doors green. Something like that. Where are the bored college kids with nothing better to do than engage in a little fun vandalism that doesn't harm anyone?
-
I agree. I hope they do what a lot of places do and make some markers on the pavement that outline where the field was.

I mean, it can't be bad news for C-USA.

DRC: UNT to host 2019 C-USA soccer tournament
Jason Howeth replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Football
C-USA made the right decision here. How do you not give it to the most dominant school in the sport, and with the newest (and probably best) facility in the league? -
Oh yeah?

DRC: Torrey lands a spot on Doak Walker watch list
Jason Howeth replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Football
Well deserved. We all know he's a really good player, and basically saved our season last year. -

Thanks to Texas, LA Tech is juiced up
Jason Howeth replied to Coach Andy Mac's topic in Mean Green Football
As an Austin resident, I can tell you the Longhorns are a team that does not underestimate G5 opponents and has a reputation for never losing one of those games. They have a good team this year, and a win by La Tech just isn't going to happen. Especially in Austin. -
How important are student athletic fees?
Jason Howeth replied to DemolitionDan's topic in Mean Green Football
We have the lowest donor support by a full 3%. That's pitiful. The 1% that are donating to facilities can't make up our entire donor base. -
Knock em in the teeth early like Arkansas.
-
Not the worst thing in the world. In any case, I SOOOO wish this were available when I was in school.

Where did you stay in your time at UNT?
Jason Howeth replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
They renovated at a huge cost, and even added bedrooms upstairs. If you remember, there were no stairs when we occupied the house. -
Where did you stay in your time at UNT?
Jason Howeth replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
You should see it now. Some other fraternity took it over, and it now sleeps something like 22 guys. -
Yeah that's just you buddy. Son of Worm refers to the previous logo, and considering brands don't like to host many Throw Back Thursdays, they're not going to reference an old, outdated logo. Granted, I think the old logo is legit as a throwback, but nobody asked me.

Kerr Hall, B Tower, 8th floor. Then Timber Links Apartments Then Waterford Apartments -
I looked at this as, "who could we lose to, and still look really good?" For that answer, I think the world sees UofH as the better program over Cal. If you picked Cal and Houston, your problem is that you're saying you prefer people look at a loss to an inferior SMU team. If you win at Cal, that's a huge win on a national stage. If you win at U of H, it's a nice win, but not a P5 win. I'll take SMU so we don't look bad, and Cal for the P5 win and lose to U of H, which is a better team than the other two, and would still be looked at as a hard-fought G5-matchup.

Ryan Palmer is also a UNT alum, but I haven't kept up with him recently.
