I'm not going to rant about my prior living situations anymore, but let's just say that I had the opposite experience in upscale suburbia to you. I moved away from that as soon as I had a chance to move out on my own because I felt it was more real. That's why this topic has devolved into stupid, it's all people talking about their preferences.

I had written racist in my original post to him but didn't want to go down that rabbit hole on here. Funny enough, the schools I attended that were primarily white were the ones rampant with drugs, thievery and crime.

You don't think his insane description of people from rough upbringings is a little out of touch and insane? Being addicted to drugs doesn't make you a lesser person. Sorry that TFLF was raised in a privileged family that never had to contend with the unfortunate aspects of society.

Well, it depends. Do you think university is incredibly overpriced and beginning to border on scam-levels? I do. So, no, I don't want to be charged more. But do I want fees that help support the university I'm paying absurd amounts of cash to attend? I do, as well.

Want to know what's sad? There was +2 on that yesterday. That means there are at the least 3 people who disagree. SMH. It's a university first.

There's too much to do in Miami. No Miami team draws good crowds. Even in their heyday, the U rarely sold out Sun Life. It was a bad decision. FIU has shown no commitment to bettering facilities, improving performance, or any improvement in fan support. They may bring 1 fan to our game.

Love the post! I work marketing for soccer and we need everyone there! We're having a "Kick or Treat" festival before--essentially a mini carnival--and then a costume contest at halftime! If you've never been to a UNT soccer game, they are a ton of fun! Easy to win giveaways, the team is really good, it's inexpensive and there's even been a tailgate scene. Weather will be beautiful, come out and celebrate Halloween with us! They are the first team to win a CUSA championship at North Texas. If they win/tie they win it outright but #1 seed is locked down either way from the tournament. Come out, celebrate Halloween on senior night, it's gonna be tons of fun and we need a sold out place. The girls deserve it!
