The roads are really bad in Denton right now. They should at least be slushy by game time.

And then your lovely city went and turned it into a gift shop. Good job. Any other place would have used it as a museum or whatever.

They're like GamerGate. As soon as they sense a disturbance in the force they come in flocks.

Nearly across the board every program we have is ranked higher. We are ranked higher, albeit neither too highly, in every publication. We have numerous programs that we are top 10 in and by far the best in the state. None of which UTSA does. UTSA brought back CAP because they have to, it's a JuCo for UT. According to NRUF, you have higher research dollars but we have a higher endowment, award more PhDs, get more top 25 and top 10 percent students, average better SAT and ACT scores, have more national academy members, have the most Fulbright Scholars in Texas, house the state's best and brightest in TAMS, have better graduation rates, significantly more students living on campus, we have athletic facilities, way higher budget, are the flagship of our system, are an established university... Other than the fact that we're in the same conference, our schools are nothing alike. UTSA is very similar to UTA, so if they had a football team they would be your twin. We can be rivals, sure. If we've even earned that, as we're 0-2 in football against y'all. But our academic institutions aren't on the same level. UTSA is a bottom-tier commuter college that captured lighting in a bottle, overcoming shortcomings. But the fact that if we so chose we could double Coker's salary even with NT's financial woes shows overall, you are not our peers. Call it arrogance, or whatever you so choose. Because it's not an opinion, it's just facts. That being said, I embrace the UNT/UTSA rivalry because it's great for both programs and the Halloween game will be loads of fun. I hope UTSA has another great turnout.

He's trying to say there is no such thing as bulletin board material and social media doesn't matter.
-
Sure! You aren't the topic of conversation on RowdyTalk, and all of the prevalent UTSA twitters right now. Not at all. Players on UTSA are on Twitter. They follow major UTSA twitter accounts. Who tweet/discuss/link to your rants initially. That, then, gets posted on bulletin boards. Sounds like a rivalry.

It's not unintentional. I engage them plenty now, because it's a rivalry. It's a rivalry that I take part in because they latched onto us and it became our rivalry. Because of you. Personally, I think our trophy should be the UNT90 trophy. I engage them because they engaged me because they thought I was you. UTSA struggles at reading comprehension.
-
Exactly. It's a rivalry. Not arguing that.

He also is the new admin of Fill Apogee. Super spirited kid. We could use more like him.

Absolutely. I hear all this about the MWC but no way was it better than CUSA this year.
-
Best of luck to our C-USA brothers at La. Tech

MGB: UNT recruit says he has backed out of commitment

Makes sense. SMU working hard at our two-star guys. -
Terrible team not known for basketball vs a national basketball power in the premiere basketball focused conference who made it to the sweet 16 last year. Way bigger.

That IS what I'm saying.

I disagree. Jones teams seemed to really key in on certain stars and make them the focal point of the offense. That's no slight against Jones, I just think there's a possibility now that Benford has been looking for a different kind of roster than what he got out of Jones' squad. I'm not saying that it was a bunch of dunkers and LeBron Jameses but I am saying there was a solid system with Jones that keyed certain players. Benford's system is based off of the team and chemistry. I'm just thinking out loud.
-
What I really like about this team is that they play selfless, fundamental team ball. Johnny's teams were awesome and reliant on star players, this one is very fundamental. Smothering defense. Love it.

What's an abberition? Is that like an apparition? Does your ghost haunt the Super Pit?

Except A&M wasn't very good. Creighton has had some impressive wins, and some weird losses. Certainly didn't have the RPI Creighton does.

GMG will find a way to crap on this. Come on, you know it.
