Good player but good lord man

It's awesome now. Every day I miss living in Denton. My only concern is it's getting a little too...SoDoSoPa. Texas Monthly did an article that was like "Coolest places in Texas" and Denton wasn't on the list. Highest rated comment was: "Denton. Shhh."

I planned on coming...up until the Astros made the ALDS. Now I have Sunday tickets. I'm still coming up for the UTSA game on Halloween though.

That's because Carlos is passionate. Sometimes he goes overboard but the dude gives 110% every play. I admire him and his dedication. Problem is, he's one of very few and that's obvious at this point. 2013 had a group of people who were tired of losing and decided to go full 110%. This current group, I don't think has that same mentality. But Carlos does. Just my two cents. I'm starting to believe that the actual coaches in 2013 were Skladany, Trice and Derek.

If we lose to SMU, heads need to roll and there needs to be serious consequences. I don't care how much "talent" they had, they were one of the worst FBS teams in recent memory last season and if we lose to them, we have had a serious regression. If we lose to SMU, especially in that it is the game Mac focuses on MOST, it will be unacceptable and we will likely be in for a 2-10 type season. Losing to SMU is absolutely a worst case scenario. Even with Morris, SMU is still a 4-8 team this year and personally I'm not really sold on him yet. Big talk kinda guy...I'm not impressed with SMU's skill positions. I think we win, and win easily again.

With the students there, I think we could very well range into the 7-8K territory. Possibly more. SMU fans will be on meltdown. I think the game will be a sellout. Since this is the first game and there's no bodybag game to dishearten the new freshmen, they're treating it like a home game. I expect 5K students and somewhere close to that in alumni turnout.

I went to the release event and also got some cans at Midway. Since I live in Houston I also wanted to know how to get ahold of them. And good news! They'll be in HEBs across the state in October, according to the co-owner.

So the white ones are like the Mach Speed jerseys actually. Which is interesting. That's the same kind Ohio State, Bama, etc have. well, I still dislike the uniforms. But that style is actually the high end Nike Mach uni, actually. Gonna reserve judgment for an official picture of all them.
