    I agree with that. My point is that Arky State has been getting poached for what feels like a decade now. Littrell moving on up is ideal, but from then on, we need to be able to pony up to keep coaches in Denton. At the very least, do what we did with Johnny Jones. Offer him enough to keep him around until his #1 comes calling.

    The only thing I really don't want to happen is for us to end up like Arky State. I don't care about their success in the SBC, they are legitimately a farm system for the P5. Top tier G5 hang onto their coaches and staff.

    I think Denton is for some good Mexican joints but the Tex-Mex is pretty...lacking.

    No, the Ninfa's chain isn't part of Ninfa's anymore. It used to be, though, they sold it years ago. If you ever are in Houston, El Tiempo is owned by the original Ninfa's family. There's a ton of good Tex-Mex in DFW, though. Denton is kinda lacking, but it makes up for the incredible Mexican spots around. Not bragging at all, I'm just saying El Guapo was a pretty decent Tex-Mex restaurant considering it's really the only Denton one. Denton has incredible Mexican food though.

    Big huge fajita plates with flour tortillas, big margaritas, chintzy/awful Mexican decorations, etc. It all started with Mama Ninfa's on Navigation (where fajitas were popularized). The way fajitas are served at Tex mex spots stems back to Ninfa's on Navigation.

    Wow, this is a bit unexpected. I always loved El Guapo, it was like some Houston style Tex Mex in Denton. Man, everything is closing up there. Ugh.

    I still haven't found a Mexican food spot in Houston as good as Sabrocita.

    Personally I think we should've had Carlos Harris do it. That way he could tell us we're all idiots and that if we haven't played a down of football we can't complain.
