DRC: UNT delays construction of new track/soccer venue
Ryan Munthe replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Football
I absolutely love baseball. I'd be UNT baseball's #1 fan. But be real. College baseball is a massive financial drain with little to no return. It'll come, but slower than we want. -
SMU doesn't care about blocking us. Such a dumb conspiracy theory.

this is an extra special troll

Yeah, I won't boo or protest. I'll just watch the game from ESPN GameCast.

The American declares itself a "Power 6"

This isn't Tumblr. Take your triggered BS back there. -
You called?? I tend to have mellowed out with age. The only people I'll go after is UTSA because they're an easy troll. But of course WKU grads have time to shit talk us on Twitter, considering we closed all of the coal mines.

Never claimed to be tolerant of intolerance. There's so many assumptions and straw men fallacies going on here right now. -

Do some research on all of the lawsuits Jerry Falwell has been involved in. -

What's wrong with playing those two universities? Playing ND would be an honor, BYU would be straight up cool. They're religious but they're not an elaborate Ponzi scheme. -

It's not that they teach creationism. I'm agnostic but really have no problem with teaching it. My issue is the idiotic levels they take creationism to, that far surpasses anything that's in the Bible. They also have many beliefs that are based off of reductive interpretations of the Bible (being raised a Baptist, Liberty teaches Southern Baptist teachings which are, IMO, insane). They take everything wrong with megachurch religion and amplify it by a thousand. They're a fake university. That's my problem with them. -

Thank you. It's the difference between teaching science and pseudoscience. It's not "they agree" or not. -

Yup. All those years of tax evasion, fraud, and not paying professors at their "university" by the Falwells has paid off. -

I don't think I've ever agreed with you. But here we are. Also, North Texas being mentioned in any way on Fox is making my stomach lurch. -
I just disagree. If I was AD, there would be even more distance between this forum and S Bonnie Brae than there is now.

To be clear, I have never bitched about SMU and Army as our home games. Just wanted to set that straight. I loved it.
-
Exactly. We're trading a team that is an honor to have on schedule for a team that is a disgrace to have on the schedule. Furthermore, having Army at home is the equivalent of a low level P5 at home. You really think Army won't draw more than a Kansas or Kentucky?

I would love to see us play in FTW. Just because I always have a great time in cowtown. Not so much in Dallas.

That's a pretty ballsy comment two years removed from Portland State.
