I applaud John for being awesome as usual. However I'd rather gouge my eyes out with a dull spoon than step foot on that campus.

Sack N Save is no more, dude! I will always fondly remember trying to not get stabbed while buying groceries and the lovely smell of cat pee when you walked in the door. I can't believe she's gone.

I certainly don't mean that we suck at anything that results in a living wage. But I meant our claim to fame such as journalism, teaching, etc.

Discrediting UNT's academics (not saying you are, I mean the sentiment) pisses me off because a tiny bit of research goes a mile. I had scholarships ready to go for A&M, UH, and UNT. I picked UNT. Time for us to stop pretending that we aren't one of Texas's elite academic universities. The sentiment exists because what we excel in isn't necessarily the money-making fields.

ARWU rates us very highly. US News doesn't, because most of their ratings are based off of endowment. Furthermore, we have memberships that UTSA would dream of. No basis putting us on level playing fields. Especially when you compare average SAT/ACT scores for freshmen. He has no source.

LOL at academic prestige being a C and campus lifestyle being the same as UTSA. That is an idiotic argument (campus lifestyle) that is impossible to make. UTSA is a commuter school, first off.

My dislike for UTSA comes down to the trashy way they came onto the field. Throwing stuff, flipping off the students, and threatening to "kick our ass on Fry" later that night. I hate them solely because they were a bunch of a-holes. Reflected their coach and their fanbase well though. UT rejects. The school exists as a UT Austin overflow.

I mean it's not really any "digging" since you proudly proclaimed you were a TCU season ticket holder like a week ago.

UNT AD has always had interns. I was one. This is interesting and seems different than what I did, I like this idea.

They didn't pick him over coaches with head coach experience. They picked Frank because they were late to the game and he was the best available. Consolation prize.

UTSA was calling around begging for anyone to take the job. Wilson was the only person remotely qualified available at that time. Lol

Look, it's obvious UTSA circles and highlights the game as does their fans. For UNT, it's another week. We get the best UTSA has to offer every year. It is what it is.

I never said it wasn't. I was vehemently against the extension. Kinda stupid to act like either coach--especially Wilson--are the second coming.

Why do we keep acting like Frank Wilson is some godsend? The only reason he's a HC is because UTSA was desperate. Cool, he can "recruit." Let's see on-field performance.

So then #NewUNT? Unlike #HTownTakeover which makes sense...taking over the city, #NewDenton makes no sense.

#NewDenton seems like it was developed by a bunch of people who bitch about Denton.
