Interestingly enough, I feel like school pride is higher than ever. You never see other schools clothes and there’s just a lot of pride. That hasn’t translated to sports. This is a student section that WAS SO savage multiple schools complained to the conference resulting in moving the student section. A student section so loud that (not looking to start an argument) screamed “MF’ing Eagles” so loud ESPN moved their mic (versus Rice.) Not to mention the old Pit Crew. While student spirit is up, student attendance is down and that stumps me. I think it probably boils down to wins and losses.

They’re delusional. They’ve played nobody. Our offense is finally as good as hyped.

Thank you. It was fun. It got to a point where I thought I wasn’t able to hype and troll enough so I handed it to someone I thought would do good work, but whatever.

I also stopped following them.

I did a lot of work when I was a student (#hit30k and @FillApogee) but it was all grassroots and I gave it away when I graduated. Now the kid who runs it just cares about parties. 2013’s student section was electric and wild, haven’t seen anything close in a while.

Instead of DFW suburbs that already have loyalty to the flavor of the week, why not focus on towns in NORTH TEXAS like Gainesville, Sanger, Sherman, Pilot Point, etc? I feel like this only existed because of Sparky.

The moral victories versus K-State, Georgia, etc did wonders for this program, am I right?

I really think that our special teams is what killed us versus Iowa. The twenty yard punts, the kick returns... How can we not get an elite punter, I mean, isn't the joke "can't spell punt without UNT?" Please.

Incredibly disappointing loss. We looked like we wanted it more. I am so disappointed we didn't win. I really like Mason Fine. He is a star.

Probably the latter. I was never a fan of the old administration's goal of just being a massive school.

Say what you want about athletics, UNT has done an amazing job of eliminating the commuter school tag and the lie that it isn't academically elite over the past decade.

It's frustrating to me because it shows that our biggest problem is the playcalling.
