I wouldn't respect us either. We have a vaunted offense that could barely muster 17 against FAU, and a terrible defense. The only advantage I'd give us is our kicker. Troy is a better team on paper, and it's gonna take everything we've got to win this.

My only worry is this gives an ace recruiting staff more time than ours to do what they do best. I know 9-4 and a bowl game is a huge pitch, but I wouldn't put it past someone like Frank Wilson to still spin the hell out of 6-5 and pull in some stud recruits.

Not odd at all. Fine is doing his job and throwing to the open guy, no matter who it is. That's the beauty of the Air Raid, until you get a guy like Crabtree, in which he was open even when he wasn't open. If a guy is open, they're getting the ball

True. Once teams started putting deep help on him he was fairly limited. Not saying he's a one trick pony, but he was just blowing past man coverage early on before teams started to double him

I wouldn't even say defense, it's recruiting. Littrell has gotten his guys in there but until you can show a elite class or two, no P5's will want you.

Pumped to be playing in the game, but still very nervous considering what FAU can do. 1) I missed most of the Rice game but heard a lot of guys went down with injuries? How bad is this gonna hurt us? 2) Are we going to be able to slow them down this time? I'm worried about getting blown out again. I understand we weren't in the best mental state last time, but that offense is damn near impossible to stop even in the right state of mind. Just curious of y'alls thoughts heading into this week
