    Yeah Scott Conley is pretty useless. I was exciting when we hired Stenklyft because it finally felt like we were putting more into recruiting. Fact is, in three recruiting cycles, it hasn't improved, and my support for him is waning. We can only out system other teams for so long. Sooner or later teams with bigger, faster, stronger players will begin to dominate us regardless of scheme. If we want to be consistently elite, recruiting has to be at the forefront.

    Formal interview of our HC during a massive recruiting weekend? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense. I'd be absolutely shocked if he was offered/takes it. Wren and Co should be working on a pay raise/extension as we speak

    It's pretty clear to me that the staff wants a lighter guy at the rover spot like Preston. I would assume he was recruited as a weak side linebacker

    BG isn't even the best LB on the team. Ejiya was really the only serviceable LB this year IMO

    Ironically enough it's the exact reason why I hate UTSA. Nothing but trolling and shit talk year round

    Well he's a freak athlete and has great top end speed/jumping ability, but it seems to me his route tree was a bit limited this year. Once teams started rolling a safety over the top, it limited him a lot more than earlier in the season. Teams were making a more concerted effort in shutting him down. The beauty of the air raid is you can(and should, which is what Fine often did) still throw to the open guys, but you might not get the 75 yard bombs like we did with Guyton in single coverage.

    We need more consistent threats from other receivers. Bussey and Lawrence are nice, but they're not true studs like Guyton is. I'm hoping Greg White will come in after a redshirt season and tear it up next year. He looked damn good every time I saw him.

    If they decide to run a Cover 1/3 like FAU, we're screwed. We haven't shown the ability to consistently dink and dunk for 15 straight plays to drive down the field.

    People may not like this bowl matchup, but it is what it is. They have one of the best defenses in the country(haven't allowed more than 25 points in a game) and FAU completely shut us down. I'm seriously concerned for our offense and their production under Graham "Run it up the middle" Harrell. The whole offense seemed overwhelmed against a comparable defense on Saturday. Here's hoping we can get back to what we do best. I'm not all that confident we will at this point.
