  1. Leach had bad defenses, but I can guarantee you his weren't as bad at Tech as Coach Bro or Littrell at UNT(So far)
  2. It was actually more of a reference to Coach Bro era Tech. Leach actually had halfway decent defenses. I'm talking UAB/Army type scores every single game where the last team with the ball wins with a final score of 57-54 or something absurd like that.
  3. Sure why not. I'll take that bet. One that I would prefer losing.
  4. Not so bold prediction: Bryce English never plays a meaningful down for North Texas. At this point anything past that is a pleasant surprise.
  5. You and me both. If I were the opposing OC, I'd tell all my receivers: "Whoever is lined up against #9, run a hitch and go every play until he stops it"
  6. Absolutely agree. I think Hall/Brooks will be the starters with Johnson spelling Nate when he inevitably gets burned three plays in a row by the same double move
  7. If they're all conference corners we're winning 10+ games. If they're not, we'll win 8 with a lot of luck.
  8. http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/jeff-wilson?id=2560189 His Draft profile for anyone interested
  9. So it is a brace. That's concerning. Also, are we really that surprised that the defense is getting burned on deep shots? We're quickly turning into Tech 2.0 Hope y'all are ready for more shootouts!
  10. Maybe if he has 2007 Graham Harrell-esque stats: 5700 Yards passing, 48 TDs, 14 INTs AND leads UNT to the CFP. Otherwise no.

  12. All I saw was: "North Texas is recruiting me the most, but I'm gonna visit these other schools instead"
  13. I appreciate it! Was curious how far it really was from the middle. Now I have a good idea
  14. Anything about that big wrist brace look concerning? I'm assuming not if he was hitting everything, but you never know.
  15. They just said at Littrell's press conference the game has been moved to March 24th at noon.
  16. http://www.meangreensports.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/ntex-m-footbl-mtt.html Lots of new names, and a lot of weight changes. Interesting new names/Developments: Nicholas Pichon DL 6'3" 297 Dion Novil DL 6'4" 266(was 240 last year) Tuulau Saafi 6'3" 280(was 272 when he came in) OUR ENTIRE LB CORPS basically put on 10+ pounds. Also worth noting Jamie King was moved from TE to LB Sosaia Mose 6'2" 305(Listed at 276 last year) Dakoda Newman 6'3" 288(Listed at 323 as a true freshman) Those are just a few that I noticed. The Strength and Conditioning/Nutrition staff put in work during the offseason.
  17. Another safety? Hot damn.
  18. Rah Rah sis boom bah. Bunch of sunshine pumpers. Ole boy culture still reigns supreme. We're screwed JUST KIDDING HELL YEAH LETS GO
  19. True. Gimme the scrappy kid who can consistently get you 8 yards when you need 7.
  20. https://swcroundup.com/news/2018/2/18/can-north-texas-line-step-up Curious as what they'll do with Barr this season. He was a good center and could potentially step in at G for Henson's departure. This will be the most interesting position group for next year. Could look completely different.
  21. Diversity of Outcome =/= Diversity of Opportunity. Not saying there aren't POC/Women in UNT history that deserve to be honored, but if they're on a building/award/scholarship etc just because they're POC/Women would be moronic.
  22. https://athlonsports.com/college-football/ranking-all-130-college-football-teams Only FAU is higher in the conference, and they have us ahead of a lot of other G5 teams. Gotta keep the momentum up. Anything short of 8 wins is a step back.
  23. Also curious to see how Keegan Brewer will fit in. He's surely another A receiver given his size/quickness, but that position is logjammed already with Lawrence/Darden. Brewer did start at Kansas as a true freshman walk on so he can definitely play.
  24. Excited to see what Greg White will do after a redshirt year. He really impressed me last year in the practices I saw
