Cobe Craft was a walk-on for this year(HS All State I believe) Kane Hardin(who I hoped we would've offered out of HS) played at Texas Wesleyan then transferred in. Both too "short" to be considered prototypical QB's, but both have a lot of talent from what I've seen/heard. The QB room has been as solid as I can ever remember.

When is the last time we beat them in SA? Just saying it's not all that unrealistic if you look at the history. We have not played well there historically.

Here's hoping he's able to still throw/workout/watch film while he's on mission.

Hell. Yes. This is the kind of recruiting momentum we need. I've been one of the harsher critics of Littrell's recruiting abilities, but if this continues and they can hang onto these kids for signing day, I'll gladly eat crow.

They only ended up 1 higher than us last year as well. Seems like that Wilson shine is starting wear off after pulling in all these players and not winning with them

Not to mention Bussey being a huge part of the offense, Shaw coming in as a big time DL prospect, Colvin the JuCo product. Littrell is nabbing Oklahoma kids that are/will be impact players for us.

I'm actually of the opposite mindset. I'm not convinced in any way that English will ever play meaningful snaps for us, hence the need for depth at NT/DE As UNT Mean Green mentioned, some people think he'll be this all world game changer. I just think it was a good story for a bit, but I'm over waiting for anything productive on the field from him.

Here's hoping it's a linebacker/safety. Defense recruiting still worries me. We're gonna have a 3 deep of 3* WR's but if we can't shore up the defense, we'll just end up like Tech.

and that's the issue. Our coaches can evaluate really well so far. We aren't landing those guys nearly enough.

Because we're all panicking at the possibility of a NT and RT not being able to play. TJ and Rod are graduating after this season, and our OL recruits aren't exactly studs. I'm just saying if we don't take advantage and have another couple 9+ win seasons while Fine and co. are here, then we're gonna be in trouble in 2020 when they're all gone.

He was a late academic qualifier. He was committed to Tyler JuCo before he got his grades in order. That's when Mizzou swooped in.

OL and defense must improve. Year 3 in the system and here's where these so called "Amazing evaluation skills" start to rear their head. I like our interior line, I am extremely skeptical about our tackle situation. Woody is our best lineman, but can he make the transition to tackle? Is the NCAA going to screw us on Mayfield? Can Brammer step up? If we don't get more consistent pressure from the front 6/7, we will lose those close games we won last year. These two units are the difference between 7-5 and 10-2

IE two years ago we were maybe getting the attention of one or two 3 star guys. Now we're getting the attention of 10+ Feels good to be a step up on the totem pole.
