  1. I think Cam Johnson/Jordan Roberts will fill in quite nicely after Hall and Brooks. Maybe not all conference level, but definitely serviceable to good
  2. UAB is bigger and stronger on both lines and will grind us to a pulp both defensively and in the running game. Defensive improvements have been good but the offense is too inconsistent. UAB 35 UNT 24
  3. I didn't go to the game. Bought tickets and everything but was apartment shopping all morning in the monsoon and decided to watch it at home. Bummed I missed a great game in person, but still supported via my wallet/ESPN3. People will start attending these games when we're at Boise St's level of success. Average 8-10 wins for the next 10 years and people will come rain or shine. Until then, it's gonna be an issue when inclement weather hits. I should've been there, no excuses, but I can see why others wouldn't show up. It's a culture problem.
  4. Buckshot is a good QB. Buckshot can throw it anywhere. Buckshot has great accuracy. Buckshot is a good leader. Buckshot has a solid chance of being drafted. Did I mention BUCKSHOT
  5. Huge win. UAB looms large, and I can guarantee has an infinitely better DL than SoMiss. Will be a huge test
  6. OSU would be insane to fire Gundy after 1 subpar season. He's had 1 losing season in 13 YEARS, with half of those seasons being 10+ wins
  7. Greg White only has 3 catches for 39 yds but has had a few clutch first down grabs. Good stuff to see from a 5/6th option. Hopefully he stays consistent and gets more opportunities!
  8. To be honest Rico has been the only one who's played like he deserves it. Lawrence has been pretty inconsistent, and Guyton has dropped 3/4 of everything thrown his way
  9. Something else to think about is us having his teammate, Deonte Simpson, committed to us. If we pull the scholly from Ward, Simpson might feel slighted and back out
  10. Right? With our ENTIRE receiving corps coming back he was probably gonna redshirt anyways.
  11. Not having Hall is gonna hurt. Their QB is very accurate(71% Completion) and they're gonna sling it. Not looking good if we continue to play poorly.
  12. After the last two weeks this is not the same team we saw in games 1-4. I'm not convinced they're quite out of the funk yet and Southern Miss is being slept on. UNT 24 Southern Miss 27
  13. Plus, from my untrained eye, it seems like a lot more teams are running man coverage against us, which doesn't lend to Lawrence's skillset as much. He has the smarts to find the open holes in the zone, but not necessarily the athleticism(like Darden) to beat man coverage play after play

  15. I'm getting married in 5 weeks and I met my Fiance on Tinder. We've been together a little more than 3 years, and it's been great. Gotta be upfront about what you're looking for, and only give the time of day to people who are looking for the same. If you're looking for long term commitment, then stop matching with people "just looking to have a good time". Doesn't seem that difficult to me
  16. You know what else? No. Muffed. Punts Glad Littrell made the right call to put Brewer back there.
  17. This is a personal favorite of mine: As Tech Fans, WE and only WE know what a college QB looks like. WE know college football. You can't fool us, WE are TOO SMART.
  18. He was in a boot at the end of the UTSA game, but at Dimel's presser, he said he was progressing enough that he would be able to play. Metz is a better thrower, and Locksley is a better runner.
  19. Not this game. If you notice in my original post, I said it's happened several times where he has made really stupid plays on punt returns. It's been fairly consistent in that you can count on him at least making one mistake every other game, and in this instance, it was a huge reason we lost.
  20. I'm not sure if "working it out" means muffing a punt at our 5 yard line, but if that's gonna continue, I don't care if he's averaging 100 yards a return, I don't want him near the ball.
  21. I’m sure I’m not the first person to think this, but after 1.5 seasons of watching Darden return punts, I think it may be time to let Brewer do it full time. Re-watching the LaTech game and seeing the muffed punt(AT THE 5 YARD LINE) is the straw that broke the camels back for me. Darden is electric with the ball in his hands, but he seems to make a mistake like this every other game. I get the homerun potential, but I’d rather have consistency and intelligence when it comes to returns. Not saying Brewer is the answer, but I’m not sure I can trust Darden back there anymore.
  22. Yeah there are also people that predicted we'd smoke LaTech by 45+ Might not be such a bad idea to come back to earth
