  1. Would make the most sense out of those remaining, although Damon Ward was out most of the season too and he signed so who knows.
  2. Yeah I may have misread or heard wrong but I thought it was as a Safety. Could be wrong though. He might be a RB regardless now. @TheReal_jayD care to confirm?
  3. The real question now, is: Is this just an outlier? Or are we going to see more decommits over the next two days due to similar reasons?
  4. Looks like Kiffin was putting all his eggs in one basket by trying to hit a homerun and get hired away. He hit a homerun alright, but nobody hired him, and now all his best players are gone.
  5. Just to clarify, those were season averages. In reference to your "was their offense operating this fast all season?" question.
  6. Yeah the only thing I'd be worried about would be Parish's weight. I'd like him to pack on another 20 pounds in the offseason, but I like his length. Brammer looked pretty bad at LT but then again so did Murray, so who knows.
  7. After a quick glance it's hard to say. We ran more plays/game than they did at 75.1 vs 73.1 but our TOP was 5 minutes longer on average than theirs(31:17 vs 26:46) Either way it was a wrinkle that our staff/players was clearly not prepared for.
  8. Sosaia has been solid at center and he was a JUCO I wont be surprised to see Preston starting at LG. The real question is what our tackles will look like. Plantin is obviously one to watch, but what about Woodworth? He saw a lot of playing time in spring/fall at LT. We seem to have better luck with JUCO OL than high school OL
  9. Anybody know what his final stats were for the year? Edit: Found them http://www.maxpreps.com/athlete/will-kuehne/1lUlEiOhEeeT-Oz0u-e-FA/gendersport/football-stats.htm Looks like he had a better junior year than senior year. Also 400 yards rushing so he seems to be more like Fine athletically. Can run, but would definitely rather throw.
  10. It'll be interesting to see who will make the excuse next year of "Remember 2015?" The reality is, not a single person who was on that roster will be on the roster next year outside of guys who redshirted. Almost every single player next year will be Littrell's. The McCarney argument is indeed wearing very thin.
  11. Okay how about this: Our coach can't win big games because he can't make second half adjustments to save his life and hasn't recruited or developed well enough in the OL/DL to be truly elite. Areas of improvement Is that better?
  12. Hope we bring in a competent OL coach. Langston has been bad to awful
  13. Super Bowl 51 comes to mind. Brady threw the ball 62 times, and the defense gave up 28.
  14. You know, it's not even losing that's the issue. It's the way we lose. We are completely outmatched in the trenches. Every. Single. Time. And is this program really headed in the right direction? Every QB we threw out their outside of Fine looked like a deer in headlights. That's terrifying, because realistically, without Fine, we're 6-6 at best. We may be in for a very rough year next year. Offense can only carry you so far, just ask Kingsbury
  15. I think we're gonna be in even more shootouts next year. Our LB's behind EJ and Garner look completely lost, we lose Brooks and Hall, and Rod Young. Our OL/DL is not good enough to win anything. We'll probably end up going 7-5 or something next year because we lose so much defensively. It's a sad reality. We have wasted the years of arguably the second greatest player in the history of our program. It's a damn shame Fine won't get at least one bowl win. Littrell is not an elite coach. LaTech fans bitch about Skip Holtz all the time, but I'd rather got 7-5 every year with a bowl win than go 9-3 and get completely embarrassed on national television. We basically have to hinge on this class to be immediate stud players as true freshman, because our depth is clearly depth for a reason.
  16. Littrell is now 0-4 in bowl/championship games. He can't win the games he needs to win, and is often blown out in said games. I get that he's "changing the culture" but I'm getting kinda tired of getting bent over every time we have a big opportunity.
  17. Langston was a major downgrade from Brad Davis. We need a new OL coach and fast
  18. Also one of the top 5 QBs heading into bowl season. He's in great company https://www.profootballfocus.com/news/college-top-5-qbs-heading-into-bowls
  19. He's also got the second highest adjusted completion percentage IN ALL OF FBS
  20. Looks like the kid that stepped in for Erderly is gonna be pretty good though. If you have a QB in this league you have a chance.
  21. ACU, UTSA, UTEP, UAB, MTSU, SMU, Rice, SoMiss, Charlotte I think 9-3 sounds about right I'd go conservative though and say 8-4
  22. I was confused for a second as I thought you meant he was transferring from UNT. Kenworthy was solid this year. I wish Mr. Patterson luck at his next school.
  23. Murray is also a lot faster than Fine No many sub 6' QB's that have been successful in the NFL without being fairly mobile.
